UPDATE: Decision made! Dress #1 is the winner. I'm very happy to have (finally) decided and with my decision. Thank you all so much! :)

Hi, not getting married in Disney but having our honeymoon there. Anyway we've all been going back and forth trying to decide which of these dresses we like the best and it's driving me crazy!

So please, which do you think overall looks best on these girls, or best for a wedding, or just preference...either style will need minor adjustments obviously.

thanks for any opinions :)

I love the second dress. It looks much more better on the girls than the first. Also, I think it would make a great dress for a wedding, since you can play it up or down, depending on shoes and stuff. My vote is definitly the second dress.

Edit- quick side note, the first girl in both pictures, to me looks a lot like Jorga Fox of CSI... just thought I'd share, :confused3

Hmm...I think I'm going to have to go with #1. That fabric for #2 is going to show wrinkles if the girls sit down at all. (or if they don't iron them, which two of my girls forgot to do) Also, the light hits that shiny fabric in the wrong way and it's going to look like fat rolls. The dresses are both fabulous and I *love* the color. #2 is a great in person dress and #1 is a great in pictures dress (and will be good in person as well).

I like dress #1...I think the fabric looks better on the girls, as well as the style.

i prefer the 1st dress & i think it looks nicer on all 3 girls, the material fits better too. it wrinkles to much in dress 2. if youre worried about cleavage especially girl 2, add a shawl.

They are both cute dresses--such a fun color! I think that, for any length of time, strapless dresses, like #1, can tend to slip, need constant adjustment, etc. I think the cut of dress#2 is a little more flattering, but I agree with what others have said about the fabric.

This is actually helping me more than I thought. Good to get outsiders opinions. My mom and fiance are all for dress #1, the girls think that dress #2 is more comfortable, but they like them both and one girl thinks she looks better in #1. Right now I'm leaning towards #1 - but I really like them both.

I should note that dress #1 also has optional spaghetti straps that can be attached.

Thanks everyone!

I think they all look better in #1...I would choose that one, especially since you indicated it comes with optional spaghetti straps. It definitely photographs better than dress #2.

That will be so good with the straps...I actually considered saying that you should have them added in my first post!

I really like #2 better. It looks more "uniform" to me, and I like that look for BM's. Dress #1 seems to over-emphasize their varying bust sizes.

I also really like the fabric of #2, feels more special occassion, you won't have wrinkles if everyone has just been steamed??

Either way, I love the green - there was a beautiful bouquet on the cover of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine with all pink and green flowers, big peonies, garden roses, etc. I thought of it when I saw that gorgeous green color.

Just another opinion...

I agree with everyone else about the fabric, so my vote goes for #1! I think with minor alterations, they will fit perfectly!

I think #1 is much more flattering. Dress #2 really calls attention to the bust of the girl on the far right, and not in a good way.

I really have to say that I don't think either dress style looks good on your group of attendents as a whole (just my opinion of course). I do agree with some of the comments however, I think the fabric is more appropriate on dress #1, and I think the cut of dress #2 is slightly more flattering. Truth be told however, if I was one of the bridesmaids, I would not want to wear either of those dresses.

I do like the length you have chosen. Maybe you could consider something like this? It is similar in style to #1, but with the overly and the flower stitching accents I think it would definitely be more forgiving to the different body styles of your maids, as it might draw the eye away from the bust and hip differences.

With the size differences of each of my bridesmaids (in more ways than one) it will be hard to find something that fits them all perfectly and makes them each look great. I'm the one that needs to look great anyway :P

those are the choices because of the color and the prices (both under $100) I have looked and there are few bridesmaid dresses in that color. I do not want sage or any other shade of green. (I'm picky lol)

#1 might look more flattering once the crease in the front is removed and it lays properly. It really is slightly more a-line.

still not sure on this though.... :confused3
thanks for opinions/suggestions. i'm still open to more!

does anyone else think that neither of these is a good choice?

I like the style of dress #2, but the fabric of dress #1. As a BM, I would not want to be worrying about the top of my dress falling down!

No, I think #1 is nice (and that's odd, because I'm usually not a fan of strapless dresses). Since the spaghetti straps are an option, I'd probably use those, for the comfort of your bridesmaids.

there are straps for dress #1 which 2 of 3 said they would use.

Not at all! I think both of them look great for your girls! I like the 2nd one a bit more than the 1st, but I agree with the others about the fabric may be too wrinkly for pictures. I think they will all look quite lovely in either dress! :) I especially like the color you've chosen!

Please remember, this is YOUR wedding. Not everyone will like the choices that you make...but once again, it's YOUR wedding and as long as your Bridesmaids like them and feel comfortable in them, and you like them, then that's all that matters! :)
