"throw her a rehearsal dinner" Oh lord....I've never ever heard of such a thing. As a PP has said - its paid for by the groom, the grooms family or even (gasp) the bride and groom, sorta as a "thank you for all your troubles and expense"
The rehearsal dinner is where the bride and groom will give their bridal party their gifts/tokens of appreciation.....I bet this heffer thinks that SHE will be getting gifts from her bridal party.
OP - you dodged a bullet with this one. Count your blessings![]()
Lol I told her a while ago who was supposed to throw it but his parents didn't want to and she said she couldn't afford to so I offered. Yes she did still expect wedding gifts from all of her wedding party....got mad at me last year cause she wanted me to give her $400 as a wedding gift and I told her with all my other expenses I couldn't afford it and she wanted me to cancel my trip to Disney in order to give her that much

I have posted the stuff I had on fb and luckily I am having some pretty good luck selling stuff I can't return or do anything with so at least I will be able to recoup some of my money
