I am having come complications with mine. First, I have six bridesmaids who are my same age and my best friends, but I also have two other girls (my cousin and fiance's sister) who I want to be included. My fiance has eight close guy friends including his brothers who he wants in the party. I am concerned with how to do this since the other two girls that I have are going to be 12 when the wedding happens and are too young to partake in all the activities, but at the same time, I dont want them to be juniors because then DF would have to cut two best friends. Help any ideas???

12 really isnt too young. What couldn't they participate in? Are you having an adult only reception? Cause the only thing I can think of that they can't participate in is drinking. And to be quite honest the junior bridesmaid dresses may look better on them. He wouldnt have to cut anyone, cause they still can walk down the aisle with one of the guys, just put shorter guys with the younger girls.

well the bachlorette party, and since one lives in New York and one lives in Virginia they are limited by travel. They will not be able to attend the showers because they cannot travel alone and their parents won't come due to work. They will be able to participate in everything the day of the wedding, but nothing for the planning process or before. I just feel like they aren't able to be at the same level as the other bridesmaids who are planning my showers and helping with everything like the rest of the bridesmaids.

The bachlorette party I dont think will be a problem.Just explain to them what is going on same thing with the shower. Are the two girls the cousin and fiancee's sister?

hello, dont stress i think this is a prpblem you will work out! :")
i had a similar problem. i had mikes sister who ios 10 but we wanted all of our siblings in the wedding. so we had her wear the same dres becouse i wanted her to feel the same also. that is what i wanted. and for thebridal shower she took part but did not have to do any of the set up we did have her be incharge of the bow hat. and for the bachelor party we went to lunch with her first and then we went out later. we explainedthis before we officially made her a bridsmaid. it all worker out just fine. she felt included and it did not hinder what i was able to do.
i would just talk to the girls moms first and see how they feel

good luck

I think that was a wonderful idea. My younger sister 13, my goddaughter 10, and my niece 7 they all helped at the shower by taking the gifts to the table and by collecting the bags for the game we were playing off the tables. For the bacherlorette party we did something similar we went out to dinner and then after they went home and we went out. They did not mind at all. Also when it came to bridal party gifts (nt that you asked but its an idea) we gave the younger kids gift cards for toys r us and the teenagers gift cards for best buy which they loved. (Yea we had a lot of people in our wedding- 15 couples)
