Brian-the Great Manager-Disney Store-Vaughan Mills Mall

Yesterday, my best friend and I drove over 2 hours to go to the Vaughan Mills Disney Store Outlet. We had a magical Disney shopping experience thanks to Brian and his staff.

We were looking at the large selection of Cars merchandise for our DSs. I was reaching up to a display I was a bit short to reach and Brian came up behind me. I turned around and asked if I was in trouble, reaching for an item displayed up high, and he said no. I looked and noticed his name badge said Brian-Manager. I was so excited to finally meet "the Brian" as I had read many good things about him on these forums. I then shyly asked if he was still taking email addresses to announce up coming sales and he said yes. Thanks to these boards, I found out he did that. He told us of an upcoming sale around the Friday of the USA's Thanksgiving that would be worth our drive back.

We had a brief but very informative chat with him. He told us how we almost lost this Disney Store. Luckily, this new smaller location is only temporary and it is there to come shop in. We found this location to be small but still very well stocked of various merchandise.

Later on we had more than our hands could handle and he fixed us up with a bag and offered to put a large item I wished to purchase behind the counter for when I checked out. He also was very helpful with my best friend and her questions about a jacket. Brian was great to point out the various sale items at his store.

I found Brian to be very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. I wish to thank Brian for making our shopping experience a wonderful start to our shopping day.

I was in on Saturday and asked for Sean. He was the old Manager and has moved down to the Eaton Centre. I haven't gotten an email in awhile.
I enjoyed the walk around the store and bought my youngest the Up characters and a Cars bag.

I was there today and got some Tink things for my niece, which allowed me to get a Holiday Mickey and Minnie snowglobe for only $10. It is so cute! Very happy with it and the Mickey JOY reusable bag I also bought for myself. The salesperson told me that they anticipate getting adult t's tomorrow. I was glad to hear that this location is temporary because it is 1/2 the size and jam packed with merchandise!

Does anyone know if the costumes are on sale from Halloween?

I don't recall there being many there...may have already been sold. I think it was princess stuff, although that could just be regular merchandise, not specifically Hallowe'en.
