Brer Fox Character

I read a post on another site that a newly designed Brer Fox Character was out meeting near the exit of Splash Mountain. Can anyone confirm this or have a picture of him???

That would be cool, if true. Brer Fox walkaround was retired a few years ago, and I could never figure out exactly why. It will be nice if he's back.

I swear i just saw him around Splash in March. But maybe not... actually now that i think about it it might have been Fronteirland Goofy instead. I was able to meet him a few years ago though.

GOOD NEWS! I can say absolutely that Brer Fox has been appearing near the exit to Splash Mountain the past few days along with Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear. He looks great and seems very happy to be back at MK!!!!

we were there 6/18 - 6/25 and DD rode 6-8 times and we never saw him once. I spent alot of time in the playground at the exit. No fair I wanna see him.

Yep. Brer Fox is definetely now back in action at the parks...and it's great to see him again!

I waited in line to get a picture, but, unfortunately, he had to go on a break before my turn could come.

I hope that I'll see him again the next time I go out to the Magic Kingdom.

We were just at Magic Kingdom on Wednesday and Thursday. I saw him on Wednesday as we were exiting Splash. He wasn't in the new costume, though. He was in the traditional costume.

He had have to have been the new version, since they had problems with the old version, therefore Brer Fox had to be redone.

Maybe you could've mistaken him for the old one because the colors on the new Brer Fox's clothes are identical to the clothes that the old Brer Fox wore (yellow hat (which is now made of fabric instead of plastic), yellow long-sleeve shirt, green vest, brown pants with patch).

On Wednesday we saw Briar Bear, Briar Rabbit and Briar Fox. My DS's were so excited to see them.

Ok, I believe you! We didn't stop at that time, so it was from a distance. We stopped another time, but it was Brer Bear and Brer Rabbit. I had never seen them before, so that was pretty fun!
