Breaking news-Travelers flying from New York to Florida will be placed under 14-day quarantine,

Did you see the quarantine list has doubled...apparently it's just a stay-at-home order by another name...

https://www.nj.com/coronavirus/2020...-days-latest-list-doubles-from-last-week.html
Edit - on the good news side, Washington state dropped off the list due to improving numbers so the formulas do work both ways. And unlike FL, which didn't take improving data into account at all when setting their quarantine states. I still don't get why they did that. Has the Gov. ever been directly asked why the states with the best rates are still restricted?

CT listing is updated to 16 states as well: https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/Covid-19-Knowledge-Base/Travel-In-or-Out-of-CT

I can’t read that story but CT has identified 16: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.

Drove by I-95 checkpoint on wY out of FL today... was closed due to rain/storms in area, so no one interested in asking questions or taking forms if it’s a bit wet outside (ok... I am being a bit unfair... obviously it is for safety to not be exposed outside with lightning in the area)...

I asked him! (LOL)
On his Twitter account and FB account.

Go figure. :confused3

Unless he signs another EO today extending it, this would be the last day. Without getting into banned topics, I would be surprised to see it extended.

I sure wish we could get an official update on this. Anyone hear anything at all today?

DeSantis is a joke. Guess I won't be giving his state my lucrative tourism money any time soon.

Aside from our trip being jeopardized, this also jeopardizes my cousin's wedding...virtually all guests are from the tri-state area (they moved to FL late last year). It was rescheduled from May to September 12th.

Here's hoping he comes to his senses and gets his own state under control so that this order expires 9/7.

This makes less than zero sense. Florida is the new hotspot.

Zero sense because there is no reason for the tri states to be extended. Did he add in states like TX? Or other high rising numbered states? Nope. He is killing his own economy when the majority of your spenders come from the tri state area to your tourist spots in FL. Ridiculous.

Now I want to know the trip reports of people who are from these areas if they go ahead down there how is Disney going to enforce this? How will Disney know you quarantined for 14 days prior to your resort stay.
