Breaking NEWS PHOTO SESSIONS!!!!!! :-)

I didn't get any confirmation number, either. They just took my name and phone number, and told me they'll call me the day before to confirm.

Just thought I'd let everyone know that they are now booking sessions through December. Just booked GF for 12/13. Latest booking they take is 4:00. Cost for 40 mins is $125, 20 mins is $100. This includes a print package and a cd of all the pics.:santa:

Do you know what is included when they say print package? like how many sheets?

Barry is who I spoke to at GF, but he didn't say what was in the package. I'm assuming it's similar to what's listed in the ads..2 8x10, 3 5x7; 2 5x7, 4 sets of 4x6's; or 7 5x7's. If you want to know for sure, call the 407-934-4004.:santa:

I just booked the poly for Dec. 5th! I'm so excited as this will be our first photo shoot! The guy on the phone was so nice and asked were I heard about the shoot-I said the Disboards where else? lol Oh, and he acted like almost all of Dec was still open. I figured b/c many people didn't know it was open for booking yet. Thanks guys!
Tiffany

I was given two separate options with the CD. I can't remember the first (should have written it down!:sad2: ) but the second option was 2 5x7's and 4 sets of 2 4x6's. The other might have had and 8x10 involved...can't say for sure. I was just so happy to get a time that worked!

I called GF yesterday and booked for 11-29-10 at 1pm- for 40 minutes. Figured we needed the extra time since my mom is disabled with arthritis- and I recall moving FAST for the 20 minute session I had at GF with just my kids and I in August 2008.

I believe it's 7 sheets.

Anyone have much info on the AKL one. We are plainning to stay there for 2 nights, and I thought since we were there, we might just do it there as well. But I don't recall seeing any pictures from there.

We did an "hour-long" shoot at Polynesian last week with Tom as our photographer. I recommend him!

We had a 10am appointment. We started with photos inside the resort lobby, then moved to the beach with the castle in the background, to a pier overlooking the Grand Floridian, had a brief stop at a giant tiki head, and finally to a spot near the Luau location. We had 10 people in our group so we booked an "hour," which is supposed to be 45 minutes of shooting and about 15 minutes of review/ordering. We had about 115 photos shot in that amount of time. There was a bit of walking between locations. My dad has mobility issues so it was slow going between some of the sites; as a result, we were out with the photog a little over an hour.

We did preorder the Photopass CD for $99 (before the new preorder stipulations and restrictions), and I had the confirmation # on email in my cell, which was good enough for a photo session discount. Our total was $101.18; I don't have the receipt at hand so I'm not sure how the prices break down for the first session, the second session, and the discount.

That price included a photo package (we chose 7 5x7 prints) and a CD of all the photos. They were also able to add those photos to our parks Photopass account.

Our attire is by Lands' End. Almost everything we chose was on sale, plus we used a free shipping offer (btw, didn't know this, but you can go into a Sears store and place your Lands' End order with them and get free shipping always - great saving tip!). The nice thing about Lands' End is color consistency across styles, so we could get different tops for the ladies and the colors matched exactly.

And some more pix in a Facebook album.

I love your photos and outfit choices...so much so that I have gone to the Lands end site, and I think I'm gonna order the little girl dress for my DD and blue tops for DH and I to match. Can you tell me, does Lands end run true to size?
I am going to stop by Sears today while out doing my running around and see if I can get them ordered there with free shipping.

Thanks! I was waiting until 30 days out but I was able to call today and we are booked!

I booked our session today at AKL for 26 Dec at 4:00PM! :) The latest time they offered me for that day was 4:45PM. The package options the CM offered me were $124.95 for 40 minutes, a CD, and the print package, $99.95 for 20 minutes, a CD, and the print package, and $49.95 for 20 minutes and the print package.

She told me we would decide what package we wanted when we got there, which sounded odd to me since it seems like they would want to know if you wanted 40 or 20 minutes. I asked twice, though to be sure. We know we want 40 minutes. Should I call back to make sure they know we want 40 minutes?

Hi,

I have just booked our session for my fiancee and me, I was given two options when I booked either a £49.95 package which gave us a 20 min sesh and up to 7 7x5 prints or a £99.95 package which is a 20 min sesh up to 7 7x5prints and the CD.

I told the CM I was going to pre order the photopass online for the parks and could i combine them or do i get any discount for having the two and she told me No that they were completley seperate and I do not get any discount!

Does anybody know if this is right as i thought you got a special price if you prepaid a CD? have they stopped doing this?:confused3

You could call back just to check, it would probably put your mind at rest, but to be honest I dont think they are very busy as the CM said to me that if it rained we could just wait untill it .

She also asked me where i found out about there service.:)

Thanks. I probably will call back. The CM asked me too and I told her the DISboards. I wonder how many people hear about the sessions from these boards! :)

I would've never known if it wasn't for these boards either. I find out about all the cool stuff here! LOL! :cool2:

I believe the no longer give the special offer.

Does any one know?

The actual pics you get with the packages, when do you get these? do you sit down after the shoot and decide which ones you want and then they print them then and there, or do they send them to you in the post?

Thanks:thumbsup2

If you go with just the print package, do you know if they will add any of the borders for your like they do at the Visa Meet & Greet in Epcot?

Thanks!

I have a reservation at Kona for 10:30. We want to book a photo session either before or after breakfast. If before, what time should we book the session for so that we can make it to Kona on time? We just want the 20 min. session. Or, would it be better to wait a little later, after breakfast? How much time should we allow for Kona? When would be the better time to go? Thanks in advance! Dena

Based on what I've read, you could easily do a 9:00 session and arrive early to your ADR. I think you could book the session for as late as 9:45 and still make your ADR if you do the session at the Poly. We haven't ever been to Kona, but we usually plan on about 2 hours for a sit-down meal.

Hope this helps! :)
