Going in August for a surprise trip for my sister for her graduation from high school. I thought while we were down there we would suprirse mom and dad by doing a photoshoot to get them a real nice photo of the two of us before we both go back to school. Was thinking of GF but what is the earliest appt available? I am a big squinter and ruin many photos lol.

can you purchase extra time as well????

I'm staying at Poly in september. I think I would like to do a photo session while our family is there. Should I make an appointment when I get there or in advance? When is a good time to have this done? What times do they do this? Sorry for so many questions! TIA!

OMG! Now I know what I want to do when I grow up and move to Disney World! I'll save memories of happy families at beautiful resorts!! How did I not know this was available? I am a hobbyist photographer (though aren't we all?) and think taking these pictures would be so much fun. Maybe I'll try a session with my family in Nov. to see how it works (and to be included for a change in some pictures!!)

Yes, you can add additional time for a reduced fee. We had 10 people in our party and booked an extended session.

I just received a 20% off the private photo session coupon today in a planning packet I received, but was also planning on ordering the $99 pre-pay photo pass. I know they're different products, but in the past I heard that these could be combined (the private session photos loading on to the prepay CD). Does anyone know how these are going to work together, or if they are able to now?

I am leaving in less than a week and did not get a welcome packet or coupon. I'm assuming this is because I'm staying in a DVC room. I wonder if they would have these at the photo booths in the resorts or somewhere else that I might could pick one up.

I will be booking a photo session at BC. I am confused about adding the photos from photo session onto a photopass card? I am in a photopass share and I was wondering if I can give the photographer my photopass card and he will add the photos to it? Or will the photographer give me a new photopass card and I can add that card # to our account when we get home?

Last May our photographer just gave us a new photopass card and we added that to our account. We did a share also and it was not a problem at all!

I know you are supposed to book the private sessions 30 days in advance, but we had to change our trip dates. Now we're leaving in about 2 weeks, am I still able to book? I will call sometime tomorrow & try to find out, but if anyone knows, please post any info here! Thank you!

I am sure they will be able to fit you in...I didn't make a reservation until we were down there and they fit me in the very next day. So if you call tomorrow I would be shocked if they couldn't fit you in.

Thanks! That's great to know! I haven't had the chance to call yet & I might have to wait another day or two until I get my final park days planned out. Hopefully I can call by the end of the week. My only problem is I wanted a Saturday so they may be a little busier, but I'm flexible so I have a few different "free days" or days where we don't know which park to go to yet, so I could always schedule it for one of those as well.

You can book them beginning 30 days out. Not only 30 days out.

My Family of four is going on a combined trip with my Aunts family of 3 we are doing the Premium or Platinum pkg for 3 days of our trip. Does anyone know if we can do an hour photo session do each persons half hour back to back? or would we have to be seperate? we want to do solo family shots but do some combined kids or all of us shots as well. My husband and I with our kids, my brother and grandparents did Wilderness Lodge in 2009 we want to maybe do the Poly cuz of the waterfalls and its just a beautiful resort. But we are going in December which do you think would be better for Christmas shots? Or do you think we should do a half hour at 2 different hotels?? Does the Prepaid Photopass cd work with discounts anymore??

Christmas photos at Poly could be really cute.

You could have your family wear red and green hawaiian shirts and dresses to make the photos more christmasy (there are tons of hawaiian clothing online stores).

I haven't had my pictures taken at the Poly yet...but we have stayed at the Poly over Christmas and it was very Christmasy Think Christmas in Hawaii
