Wow busy busy bees

Hope you get on the road soon as planned Alison. So sorry you had so many problems.

PIO I'm sorry you're getting extra stress added to the stress. I'm always jealous of having family to spend time with. But I do also feel your anger/annoyance at unexpected guests etc. That's very unfair on you :headache:
Hope the actual event it ok though.
And I hope your back is on the mend

Hope things are going ok Dana. :wizard:

Skiing you seem to be skiing along nicely :thumbsup2

Unsnuz hope you've been getting sleep. I know that's not easy for you.

Welcome the new people. Scots are always welcome. My heritage from my mother is Scottish and Irish....firey blend!!!!! Hehe.....

As for me. I sit in bed watching it show...light flurries..outside.
I was going to ski today but the drop in visibility with snow I just can't risk it with my shoulder. I seem to have stretched muscles or torn ligaments in my underarm area of my shoulder. It didn't really hurt during the fall. But I flung the arm up to try and stop sliding. So it's not 'surprising' but the amount of pain is very annoying.
So I'll have a shower then go out the town a bit.

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday times even with it busy for some like PIO.

I'm BAAAAACK! At work that is!

Trip was great; especially the Disney part; loved the Poly and our plans for the parks worked out well. We did not like the Royal Pacific Resort at all and ended up eating most of our meals outside of the parks other than one room service dinner. The room was very small, had almost no outlets and several other issues I will elaborate on in that forum not here. Harry Potter was impressive but after all the hype I was a bit disappointed especially with the que. Crowds at Universal overall were horrific most of the time.

We are all very glad to be home!

How is everyone?????

Good morning!

I see we have not hit page 250 yet. I'm dressed, so is Arline. Fran is still in bed and has been for 13 hours.

Kimall so glad your back! Sorry it wasnt so great! But cant wait to hear about the trip.

Queenie sounds like some shopping and resting your shoulder is what you need. Take some advil. Get pics! Hows your mom doing by the way?

Alison, I am sorry your waiting to go. I hope your day gets better.

Skiing hope your day is good.

Scotlass and Focusondisney so glad you guys want to join us.

Good morning Dana, please pass the cinnamon rolls.

PIO hope your enjoying your shopping and I am thinking about you!!

And now I am going to mend my big Lips.

Good morning. I see we still haven't gotten to page 250 yet. I'm not dressed and will need to go grab a shower soon.

Queenie - I forgot to say that I hope you're feeling better and that your mum is also on the mend.

Welcome back Kathy.

Alison - drive safe!

Usnuz - hope the lips are recovered.

Maybe...if you're very lucky.....you'll never be a thread closer either! ;)
That is the goal.

that thread pretty much from the start! Its taken me about 150 pages to get tagged.
I guess it's more luck than anything.

Though it seems like the Tag Fairies are visiting pretty regularly now....maybe the Christmas angle is softening them up....like butter!

Possibly. I feel gifted now.

LAST night, I stayed in the c(h)ity to catch the decorations. Came home with over 280 pictures in the course of 2 - 3 hours.

Been thinking I need to do an OT December/Christmas post with some of the activities and food that I've been doing. So, fair warning to those of you that have lived through those pics already. :3dglasses

I love your photo interludes. That yould be great.

You need to rest your back  I will trade you family issues, ours is strange. Or if you dont want to do chocolate do a candle. Dont stress over christmas day stuff just enjoy it. I will think of you on christmas day!

You were up late! Did you sleep at all?

Christmas day is the cakewalk for me. It's just us and my parents for lunch. My DB and his GF have decided to come for desserts...again unexpected...but I've got that covered. Just need to go shopping for the food.

Christmas Eve...which will be your Friday....think of me then. I suspect we're up to about 25 adults and 9 or 10 kids??

Better get cooking that Christmas Beast for that feast.

Skiing you seem to be skiing along nicely :thumbsup2

Hi Queenie. Will you have any more days to try the new snow? I'm not getting or expecting much here, but if it makes things softer I'll be happy.

I'm BAAAAACK! At work that is!

Sorry to here the later part. If you post a TR, please quote me and post a link. I can hardly keep track of threads anymore.

Good morning!

I see we have not hit page 250 yet. I'm dressed, so is Arline. Fran is still in bed and has been for 13 hours.
I turned on this computer just to see if you had left.

:wave2: go to Vegas take two.

I hope this means you did.

I should get organised for Turdsday. School drop off and I am looking forward to the massage and adjustment!

I contemplated that....but then decided against it. We have installed a water saving shower head so the spray isn't as strong as it used to be....

Yeah, and with my skin the way it is, if there's a soap film on it, I wind up insanely itchy and liable to break skin when scratching. I hate having such dry skin :(

Our house is probably the first house from the mains water pipe down the street. When we moved in, the dooviwacker in the toilet flush system used to regularly pop out because of too much pressure. Even the plumbers were shocked at how much water pressure we had....so we installed a flow constrictor into our water line coming into the house.

We had a major drought for the last 13 years and have only come out of it in the last 18 months. During the drought, we were doing as much as possible to conserve water. The State Government came out with an initiative of providing a free lowflow shower head. All you had to do was bring in your existing shower head and you would get a free swap.

Our shower can deliver about 15 - 18 litres of water per minute. With the low flow, we've taken it down to 6 - 9 litres of water per minute.

That's still plenty of pressure....it's just that the new shower head is much more directional and only allows one person to get wet at a time.
