Yeah, that's the problem my dad's been having. He's in school part time and working as much as he can (which isn't much sometimes) and doesn't always have the time to study.

He's a union carpenter and is trying to ensure that he can continue to have a job. He's been out of work for about four years and has occasionally found day labor, but that's about it.

skiingfast - You bad!
Santa will disagree and bring me gifts. He always has.

This is the one holiday job I underestimate time-wise and then get bogged down on at the last minute every year. Wrapping as I go doesn't work since there isn't space anywhere to keep the things spread out to do it until close to the end.

I always worry about doing it early that some will be found. They stick out less left in shopping bags. I'll be up past midnight wrapping them I'm sure only to have DS suddenly wake up two hours earlier than normal.

My parents used to put our presents in the attic, which is only accessible through a small door in the ceiling of their closet :lmao:

Ugh! I've been off the boards for quite some time with the "Cat Prep". However, here is our current Living Room. Let me explain. See the thing that looks like a coffee table, it was about 1-2 feet high in boxes and crap. To the left was boxes from the cat trees against the window, all the way to the little tray table with my computer on it. You couldn't walk through on the left of the table to get to the window. Also the little table next to the couch was piled high with "stuff", not to mention the floors had boxes and other stuff, there was a little path snaking through the living room, and now we have an open floor plan!

I hope that it stays this way at least for a while!

I would still feel cramped. But I can imagine you made headway for being at it all day. Good job!
