No I stayed in today.

Last year I did, and went to a lot of stores and nothing seemed terrible, they were busy but nothing that wasn't comparable to many other days of the year. Walmart was just like back to school shopping with Christmas music.

That would be rather rough to be on register for BF first up. You would think that there would be a longer ramp up period so that the worker gets used to working the till.

Since about 1 am last night to now (9 pm), we've had about 2 inches of rain.

Our store didn't have any sales yesterday, so it was just a regular day. I was on a register for about five minutes and then went back to what I'd been doing. We were basically doing projects all night It wasn't too bad.

I'm apparently going to be on markdowns all next week, and my manager said I'll likely be going back to stock after that. I heard a rumor they're considering me for stock lead, but I don't know yet. I have no problem with stock. It's just the "No, you can't leave" crap that drives me nuts, aside from the nonsense with coworkers, the excessive commute (I'm going to spend 4 hours on the bus tomorrow because it's Sunday), and the low wage.

Sadly no. It's another day of silliness today. We're double booked in the morning and have something else on this afternoon.

I've just had my morning coffee; so I'm hoping that will keep me going till lunch.
