Just watching the footage of fights breaking out in Walmarts across the country. Pepper spray being used. Fights over cheap video games. People being robbed in the carpark afterwards

So was it good braising the dark meat longer? Actually thinking about Turkey legs brought back some nasty memories. The smell of them at WDW is gagging for me...blech....

BUT...I think I'd like ones cooked this way. I'd at least try it.
I just adore Turkey white meat with cranberries.

What kind of gravy do you make? Do you make like a chicken gravy?

I just add flour and water slurry to the pan juices, especially since this time I put chicken broth in there, ala Bobby Flay. I added a little milk, wine and pepper, and that's it.

I ordered my Turkey breast roll for Christmas at my chicken shop today. I decided to just go with pure breast meat and not have it stuffed. I'll probably make stuffing separate.

Will you be posting your stuffing recipe on WFD?

There really isn't a recipe, I hate to say it but I do so much "semi homemade" like Sandra Lee. I just used Stove Top and added mushrooms, zucchini, onions and celery. There was probably as many veggies as there was bread crumbs!

There are a number of ways to interpret this.

I will immediately scratch out the thought that someone walked in the store with $20 notes still uncut and in sheets....that would be some trick to have the Fed Bank provide uncut notes....so I reckon this is really improbable.

So....I will assume that we talking about BED sheets. Were they priced at:
a) $20 each
b) 20 sets of bed sheets priced at $1 each???

Yes. We haven't yet seen the mace come out....but the gloves are definitely off.

The big stores have stopped doing door-buster specials. People got hurt and they decided not to do it any more.

Oh yes bed sheet sets, you know 1 flat, 1 fitted, and 2 pillow cases. Crazy madness. I have never been to walmart on BF and never will. I think they need to do all of there items online. That way it would stop all the fights.

20 dollars for one set. 4 pieces. I dont think they were the best sheets. How terrible to fight over Sheets. So for 4 pieces 20 bucks. They talk about the fights on the CB or the budget board. I found some of them hilarious.

The news was hardly shocking. Media just put 2 and 2 together to create bigger stories.

Walmarts were open 24 hours this year, and most of the items were available online.

If you were to say the incidents were going to happen 1% of the time, Walmart would have more incidents than other store. Because there are much more Walmarts than Best Buys or Kmarts. Also being a price leader they are viewed as more accessible than other stores, so uneducated crowds flock to them not knowing they could of shopped online or walked in at 11:30pm. Also Walmart prepared by stocking greater amounts of the hot items planning to sell them, rather than advertise something that runs out quickly to push shoppers to buying higher priced alternatives.

They had been put under great public pressure to adapt these policies.

I think Walmart antisipates these issues. But it needs to stop. Did you catch all the other things that happend at other walmarts? One person got shot, They were approached by a few people that wanted her purse or mercnadise and the fight broke out and a gun got pulled out.

While we were waiting in line there was a fight in progress in the parking lot. Before store opened. Cops showed up. I dont know if I want to go out any more. There is nothing worth my life.

It seems that it has only been these last two years that the crowds have gotten worse. In 09 the stores were still quiet. In 10 it was way more crowded. This year the mall looked like it was a day were it was grand opening. I should have gotten pics. No where to walk in isles. The mall itself was so congested. We went up to the eateries and those had long lines.

Having worked in retail I understand the stragety. One day some stores will get sued and then they will have to rethink the issues they created.
