So do you get a live tree Usnuz?

I have to put up a faux tree due to allergies.

They automatically add the gratuitys. It took that long from start till leaving. It took a long time to get drinks, then appetizers. I dont think they will go back next year. No I dont cut my tree. I have enough trouble getting it home. I have a car no truck.

You could get a 3 footer. It would fit in a garbage bag in the back seat. Though to do this you do need a permit, it's about $8.

OK, Fran already went over to #2 like 2 hours ago when we finished dinner. I need to feed the kids over here and get my butt over there before she starts *****ing about the whole going to bed before midnight thing. The good thing is that we have both received our new phones. So I can DIS from my phone again!

:faint: No rest for the wicked. Just spent a very uncomfortable 90 minutes outside weeding. I've got a bad attack of hayfever right now.

Still have the cakes to go!

I can do a 6 ft just tie it up on top of the car. Yes I get a fresh. I dont have room to store a faux one.

You know PIO, I was thinking about your reasoning for firing the maid and doing it yourself, the beautiful thing about our cleaning lady, is that she has been now with us since 2008. We had to fire the other one because too many pieces of jewelry kept ending up missing. The last straw was when my wedding ring from my previous marriage was gone. I KNEW where I had put it and she had gone in the dresser and taken it. I know it was her because there was no one else we couldn't trust who came in the house.

So the current gal, we don't do any preventional cleaning, she has helped up dig out the house so many times that she unloads the dishwasher, feeds the cats, just keeps herself busy with all the tasks that she knows needs to be done until my "Fran duties" are finished and I can either work with her or give her instructions.

She has repeatedly apologized to me that I am not the one she listens to first, but that she makes sure "whatever Fran wants" is what she does and my instructions are secondary, and I have commended her on that judgement! :lmao: because that's how we keep peace in the house, is above all do what Fran wants! Then I try to get my needs in there. :rotfl2: It makes for much less outbursts and happier overall household.

OH. MY. GOD.

I just saw a story on the news that a girl (12 years old) may be arrested because she kissed a boy on the playground at school. Police were called, and if he didn't want it she will be charged with sexual harrassment.

:faint:

When I was in first grade we had kissy cooters. The girls used to chase the guys, I remember being the one out in the front, not to kiss the guys, but i was the one who gave the kick in their step to take them out. The other girls swooped in to give them them the kisses. I was more about the take down, :lmao: Geez, we would have all had to register as sex offenders for behavior like that!

The lady we had didn't steal from us but she was also a little bit clumsy. After she left and I started doing the cleaning again, I noticed that she had been rather rough with either the vacuum or the mop...there were quite a few cracked and broken tiles in the bathrooms. She never said anything. It irks me...but there is nothing I can do about it; unless I want to completely rip out the rest of it.

I wish I had someone like the cleaner you seem to have. She seems really diligent and hardworking; and prepared to tidy up the mess no matter what. Ours just cleaned around the papers; if they weren't put away. :headache:

Are you serious???? What is the world coming to?

It seems that people who do house cleaning just want to do a bare minimun. I remember cleaning I included everything. Even cleaning the trash cans. Extra was like cleaning the inside of the oven or fridge.

You're all sex offenders.

I never had the opportunity for such playground activity till I was at University....my parents believed in all girls school. :rolleyes1

Turns out she is a friend of friends and she did house cleaning for sort of a living (now she works as a playground monitor at an elementary school) but she is happy to work for us as we need her. She is awesome because if Fran ties me up with some *whatever* thing, Darcy finds something productive to do. She does take an occasional break for a smoke, but the amount of work that she does, makes that totally justified. Unlike my "houseboy" I don't have to tell her anything, she always finds something to do and most often can do it without having to bother me. She loads and unloads the dishwasher and if she doesn't know where it goes, she sets it aside until I have time to show here where to put it instead of being paralyzed.

She's great, which is why we pay her so much to keep coming back!

I know can you belive that kids are now being considered sexual predators, they don't even know better at that point!
