So we saw the Dr today, she is so awesome! I mean how many docs can you call at 11:20 and they say "can we meet at noon?" We said 12:30 because neither of us were fully dressed and out of bed. The nurse put the dressing on way too tight and it was hurting Fran's leg. She redressed the leg and gave her a pain shot that would last about six hours, so it's probably wearing off about now.

Hopefully she can get into the SUV with this dressing.

I've already got my present ready. I bought tickets to go see Roger Water's The Wall concert next year. I'll tell DH that it'll be our christmas presents to each other and that'll probably be it.

Have you ever tried to get a cat to STOP doing something? I'll be lucky if I can break him of his new found habit of jumping on the kitchen counters!

I've never had a cat. But I know one who was almost disowned when he knocked a handle of Jack Daniels off the fridge.

It's nearly school pick-up time...and then I have to head in to work.

I have one of those after hours functions to attend tonight. We have two functions a year where we welcome the newbies into the company. I occasionally get a 'mandatory' invite to these...we kinda have to do the rounds and do the right thing for the newbies....
Tonight is one of those mandatories.

What a shame....it's at the Melbourne Aquarium. I'm taking my camera but I'm also guessing that we will be served finger food; which will mean no food porn pictures.

Because we are one of the instrument storage vehicles for the DL performance. A Chevy Malibu doesn't hold nearly as much as an Expedition.

She's got a ton of morphine. She can take it as long as we have it in the house!

We are done with the IV antibiotics, now she's back on the oral antibioitics

She is not normally very mobile. Getting in and out of the SUV is difficult normally. We are going to try and see if she can get into the SUV tomorrow.
