She is not normally very mobile. Getting in and out of the SUV is difficult normally. We are going to try and see if she can get into the SUV tomorrow.

Does that mean done with the IV? Her arm is free again?

So if she can't get into the SUV? What is plan B, go alone?

Done with the IV. Arm has always been free. I will not go alone, no idea on plan B. Maybe take the Malibu and just forgo our vehicle being an instruments storage compartment. We're totally winging it and playing it by ear!

Finally homeward bound from work. I'm sorry to hear Fran's leg isn't doing much better. Pain management is one thing but it's the slow healing that's concerning.

I quite liked Eragon but never read the others. Hope the function is good. It's a nice aquarium. But there is a nice casino just nearby......... they are more known for functions. I'm not a gambler....just like their food.
Hopefully fish isn't on tonight's menu.

I got my delivery of goodies for playing Santa to the folks in the UK today. DBF has two godchildren who are gorgeous little girls. His love of wombats had my first gift to them be...plush wombats. Back when I visited.
I was hunting for a few things for DBF. Aussie themed. And I stumbled across a website for a lady in Victoria who hand makes things and screen prints bags and shirts etc. So what started as a wombat printed apron for DBF....turned into some handmade book covers with pencil cases, Library book bags, and tshirts for the girls.
A shoulder bag and drawstring bag (both lined fabric) for mum of the girls.
Another shoulder bag for a friend of DBF. Plus I have a spare shoulder bag I'm still tossing up on whether to give it to him to give to his 'sister'.
She hates me. But I think she'd like it.....



Am I a better person....

I'll post some pictures when I get home. They are really lovely.
The $$ added up but they are handcrafted and custom designs. Plus no more than souvenir stores here for something of this quality...or custom.

The company was good. The function was good.

Sadly, we didn't get to wander around and were stuck in the goldfish bowl. I have some of the goldfish bowl and need to unpack them. Might have a small reef for skiboy. The sea horses were in another section of the aquarium and we didn't have access. So, kinda nothing for usnuz...although I think I have some from last year.

The food was a bust. It was finger food and I didn't get a single picture. Come to think of it...I didn't even get to sample much either.

The biological sister has always been a strained relationship...and now she is completely persona non grata...
THIS one....is 'like a sister' as they have been friends for over 20 years....
She never gave me a proper 'chance' and was always icy...but now hates me...and I'm likewise...
BUT....I know this will make DBF happy....although I'm not sure I want to give an olive branch.


I wish we had markets like this nearby. Sydney distinctly lacks markets
