Ya know I have the funniest work situation.....
No one wants to work on this project. The consultant battle lines have been drawn. We have a crappius maximus deadline. And the (current) project chiefs are just trying to keep us going to do what needs to be done.
I don't know if he was just trying to keep me 'smiling' errr. Mate that was grimace....
Anyway...he says 'yeah I think your contract is being extended into the new year.

Need to go clean the bathrooms and kitchen.

I'm tired. Last night, DS wanted to make a "tent" in the house. So, we dragged his mattress into the family room, used sheets and blankets to set up the tent....and then he wanted me to sleep in there with him.

Resistence.was.futile.

So, there we were....him and me....him kicking me and him tossing and turning. Would have been 1 am when I gave up trying to sleep, grabbed my pillow and tried to inch my way out of the tent without waking him.

I think I got about 3 or 4 hours sleep last night. Definitely going to need a nana nap today.

But before that, cleaning!

Your poor DS, someday, when he's much older with his own place, and maybe he brings home a somewhat shady lady....and they end up falling asleep, and then she leaves while he's asleep, he'll be scarred from the time he woke up alone without his mommy when they slept in his tent as a young boy! He'll be afraid of women and be scarred for life!


No, I'd planned to pick up chinese for linner, but I had to buy stuff at the grocery store, so I ordered it as I was heading for the checkout so I could pick it up on the way home. You've got to love the Chinese, when I walked into pay for it the lady at the counter say, "lot of people" as if we'd ordered too much food for two people!
