Is this just for "add ons" or for new member purchases?

I wonder if they'll offer anything additional for AKV to accelerate buying?
As far as I know, the $500 Visa incentive from an existing member expired 9/21 or something like that...I bet DVC brings back a similar incentive now for AKV!

Let me clarify, yes it is for 100 add on's AND NEW CONTRACTS. You will get 160 points if you buy in at 160, etc. GREAT NEWS!!!
Again, he is awesome (as you can tell since he told me about this promo so quickly!)

Yes, that is correct. He said he just found out about it yesterday when he was in Florida. I can't say enough awesome things about my guide!!!

Please, please more details We just bought on 10/31 and I would love to get some developer points. I left a message for our guide and am waiting to hear back. Does anyone know if Disney will give us the deal? We put a gave them a deposit while we were there in Orlando. I received the box of paperwork yesterday and haven't signed any of the papers. Would it be painless to cancel and rebuy if the deal is better now?

Personally I would if it is within that cancellation window, this deal that was released today is awesome, we're considering adding 100 more on to snag it- just love BLT.

We are at AKV -- bought in July -- got the Developer Points -- they can only be used at SSR, unless of course that has changed. We are thinking of adding on already. Used some Developer Points to add onto our previous vacation (when we bought DVC) and are using the rest to take a quick Thanksgiving trip. SSSSSHHHHH!!! Don't tell the DSs & DD -- we are going to surprise them!

I hate we missed out on the $500 Visa offer that ended 9/20 -- got the e-mail from our guide, but at that time we weren't in the market. I've been looking at resale vs add-on. At AKV seems pretty close, especially when you consider no closing costs to add-on through DVC + the Developer Points.

We really enjoyed SSR and are looking forward to going back. Waiting to pull the trigger on our add-on. Economy has us worried -- but DVC forces us to take vacations we normally wouldn't -- something the kids will always remember. Looking forward to a Savanah View at Kidani Village this summer!

Again -- I'd put our Guide up against anyone. Maybe they should have some kind of competition? LOL!

If it were me and a new deal was announced and I was within the 10 day period, I certainly would call guide and see if they can revise contract and add the Developer Points to the contract.

Matching Developer Points in my opinion is BIG!!!

Keep us all posted...I'm sure you won't be the only BLT purchaser to be calling DVC with this new promotion!

We have signed all of our paperwork, but have not sent it back yet. Do you think that we can get in on this? We are new members and do not know how everything works. I guess I should call my guide, but I don't want to be a pain if we are not eligible.
