I have heard that it is extremely hard to get the reservations for the Princess Breakfast at the castle...is this true? And if so, does anyone have any tips for getting a reservation???

wake up EARLY! I haven't tried yet but I plan on it! Hope you get it!!!

Getting into Cindy's breakfast is like competeing in a game show. Think of it as your first Disney thrill ride.

One place I've found online with some tips in getting your reservation for Cindy's breakfast is:

If someone else knows any other links with tips for this, please post them. I'd love to collect them myself.

yes, I believe they will help you try and get it! :teeth:

Practice beforehand, check the time on a website with the correct time, call a couple minutes before 7:00a and keep redialing until you hear they are open and STAY ON THE LINE!!!

Take whatever they'll give you as checking for specific times will waste precious time!

Good luck!

I found if you start dialing at 6:49 AM you can get through. You must cal exactly 90 days out.

Don't forget there is also a princess breakfast in EPCOT in the Norway pavillion. Everyone, except Cinderella, is there. My DD(6) loved it and the food was fantastic.

I have been lurking on this board for approx. 2 years now. I have never posted because I usually find the answers before I have to ask the question.

Anyway, DH and I are taking our DD 3.5 to WDW in April of this year. I have been to WDW several times. My DH & DD have never been.

I have scheduled a few PS. Our DD is a Snow White fan. I scheduled the storybook princess breakfast in Norway, Epcot in hopes Snow White will be there that day. Since she likes Snow White more, I decided I would not have to get up early everyday to fight the masses for a PS with Cinderella.

Well, I was making the last PS (for Hollywood & Vine) the other day and asked if there was anything available for Cinderella. I expected her to say we have nothing open during your stay, this was mid-afternoon by the way. Low and behold she said we have a 9:20 am that just opened up do you want it? I said yes.

So, be patient and keep calling.

Always call back...people cancel reservations all the time. We were able to get CRT last year at the last minute. I was calling one night to make ressies for dinner in EPCOT (this was while we were there already) and was able to get the four of us in at CRT the next morning. Someone had just canceled their ressies because their flight down had been changed (or so I was told.)

Snow White was definately at Norway breakfast. She's my favorite. (DH's too.)

They will try for you. My second paragraph was for anyone calling to try and get CRT.

BUT I highly suggest calling yourself too and then canceling if Concierge gets it for you, IMHO.

eddieras, I'm sure concierge will attempt to make the ressie for Cindy's (or anything) for you. I don't know if they have any special 'in' though to getting the highly sought after ressie at a moments notice.

The reason everyone is saying to call 90 days out is because if you don't make the ressie at exactly 90 days in advance, you may not get one, since this is the most popular character meal in all of WDW. I have heard that sometimes you can get in if you walk right up and of course if you don't get your ps at 90 days out, you can keep calling and sometimes people will cancel their ps and leave an opening.

Dh got very lucky before our last trip. He got up before the crack of dawn on the 90th day before the first day of our trip (we're on Pacific time so it was really early here) and got a ressie for the first day, on the first try. So it can be done!

hth,
Cheryl

thanks for all your help! i'll ask concierge and see if i need to call too at the 90 day mark-- i have a few weeks still! i appreciate everyones input!

Be open to doing the breakfast ANY day of your vacation. Call everyday at 6:55 and keep hitting redial until you get through. Just tell them what you want in as little words as possible and accept whatever time they give you. You only get one chance. Everyday you call check for previous days, in case of cancellation.

We got through on our 4th or 5th day of trying. And to top it off I was out of town on an overnight weekend away and still got up at 3:45 (PT) to call.

For what it's worth, I have stayed at Poly with concierge both times (October 2002 & December 2004). Both times we got PS for Cinderella's castle by telling the Concierge what day we wanted it. I think they have an inside track because both times they got my first choice of dates. We are returning in May this year without concierge at WL so I wil be calling myself as well.

Make sure you send in your request to the concierge before the 90 day mark (say 95 days out) and follow-up to make sure they got the request and indicate what flexibility you have as to times and other dates.

In our case, I also checked with them very shortly after the 90 day mark to confirm that they got it for me. In our case, we got exactly what we wanted.

Good luck.

I think I have been covered with pixie dust because this week is our 90 days out week for our May trip. I have called the last 4 days for Cinderella and gotten all 4. Of course, I will only keep one but I'm a gal who likes options. I will be cancelling at least 2 before we leave and was planning to post on this board when I do. They are all for 4 people, 8:30. Just follow the advice on the top thread of this board and it works like a charm. As soon as they answer, just start pressing 1 and then have your speech planned, interrupting them as you need to! Good luck!

Epcot Mom
(a little tired this week though...)

We've also stayed twice at the Poly concierge and both times they have gotten us in at Cindys for breakfast. So if you're staying concierge, definitely have them try. They had much more success than I did alone.
