Hi, Karen. We both go a long way back here, 1999. WL is so pretty really draws a person in. I'd give you an A also.Hi again Dan! Hard to believe my joined date is 1999. However, I do remember my trip to Wilderness Lodge that year and how amazing it was, especially the crickets. I went to college late in life and wrote an essay about the lodge. Got an “A”!
Sure you are an old timer, Allison. 10 years is a long time. Nice seeing you. I always remember your avatar with Joy there with you. Pretty unique.Hello! I'm not sure if I've ever posted enough (or been here long enough) to be an "old-timer" and I'm not a newbie, but since this thread has been bumped, I guess I'll give a quick update?? I don't post here often anymore, but I do lurk on occasion. Honestly, nothing really new with me. Still working, and most of my free time is spend mindlessly scrolling on the internet and church activities. The past three summers I've enjoyed participating in "Bikes and Boats" with my local adaptive sports organization (I posted about it over on the disABILITES forum) and still occasionally dream of a Disney trip again.
Cute picture of the dogs there, Jane. Nice to see you.NFLDERS here!
Thought I'd drop by to read ALDIO'S for my Mental Health!

The Summer's over and the dogs are not happy about it!
Well, I know 3 of the people on page one have passed away over past years. Amazing, this thread is 19 years old now, about 8 years after the DIS started. Looking at the first five pages I know of 9 folks who still post regularly or drop by periodically (that I know of). A few others I keep up with in periodic emails or text. It's been a nice thread over the years. And heck, CO, you've been here over 11 years now, a nice run for yourself. Looking for many more years ahead.Funny, all the people who posted in the beginning of the thread as newer posters are now the oldtimers (if they are still around!)

A great run! Thanks. I actually joined under a different name in 2006 or 2007, I believe. So coming up on my 20 year anniversary!
Hi, Jill.Hi Dan! I'm still here! So the last 10 years, we have been traveling the world, NZ, Australia, Ireland, Norway, Africa safari and a few more, it's been very exciting. My husband works for a travel company here in Boston. He had to undergo open heart surgery last Winter, so that slowed us down, but we are so ready to travel again. We're doing a quick Disney cruise soon and now we just do our DVC stays at the BC, haven't done the parks since before Covid. Looking forward to that cruise! I hope you are well, I think I'm one of the old timers here!
Well good morning and welcome, @Jahianter. Welcome to the DIS. Hang around long enough and you'll be an old timer also. It's a good place on the Net.Hey, I love the energy of this!Been a while since I’ve popped in, but it's nice to see a thread like this. Definitely not here to complain, just wanted to say hey to anyone still around! It's always fun to reconnect with familiar faces, and maybe meet a few new ones too. Let's see who else comes out of hiding!
