Breakfast Strategy for EMM

So as not to waste valuable EMM time eating breakfast, I'm hoping to eat at 9:45. My question is this: what headliners can I reasonable do at 9 when EMM ends and be back to Fantasyland for breakfast by 9:45? Is Space Mountain OR Splash (with BTMR) do-able?

Wait. I thought the only attractions that were open during EMM were select rides in Fantasyland. Is that not the case? If other areas are open as well I need to rethink my strategy for that entire day.

7DMT, Winnie the Pooh, and Peter Pan are open during EMM.

OP, I don't think you'd have time for both Splash and BTMR. Splash is pretty long. I think you could do either Space or Splash and be back by 9:45 for breakfast.

Other areas open at 9 am while breakfast serves until 10 am. So EMM guests can ride the three rides exclusively from 7:45 am to 9 am, then go on other rides before having breakfast.

Yup, Splash / Big Thunder are pretty close by, and not a bad choice to go that way. If you have young ones that might enjoy the Tomorrowland Speedway, hitting that, and maybe the tea cups isn't a horrible plan either, or Space, but I think if you head to space, that may be the only thing you have time for.

I was wondering the same as the original OP, but with Big Thunder and Haunted Mansion. Are those do-able between 9-9:45am?

We did Haunted Mansion and Its A Small World and were able to get over to our breakfast by 9:40 AM. We made sure to make Peter Pan our last ride right before 9:00 AM so we could easily hop over to HM right before rope drop and be the first group in. I think if you are at one of your rides 10 minutes before 9:00 to where you are the first to get on that you will be able to knock both of them out. We never felt rushed at all for breakfast and went up to the breakfast bar several times. It was not crowded at all. We got a table at the window by Its a Small World and it was nice to watch the boats loading while we ate our breakfast. Hope your family has a blast with this, I know mine did!

I agree. If you get on your last EMM ride right at 9:00, then I would say you will NOT have enough time to do BTMRR and also Haunted Mansion. If you get to BTMRR ahead of the normal rope drop crowd, then you should be fine hitting that, and Haunted Mansion before breakfast.

We're doing this in May but my stomach will want Breakfast at its normal 7 AM time and may not let me wait 9:45!

When we did this last summer we were also hungry before 9:45, what we did was go into the restaurant and grab some juice and pastries or fruit and then eat them while we walked to our next ride. Later in the morning we went and sat down for the hot breakfast items.

So if WTP is our last ride, we could maybe get in both Space Mtn and Buzz?

Thanks for the idea. It didn't even dawn on me to do this.

The biggest decission anyone needs to make is if they want to ride 7DMT 7-10 times on an empty stomach or with a little bite before you go to tide you over. Choose wisely. :-)

We did this last spring. We did 7DMT 10 times, PP and Pooh once before 9 AM. As soon as the crowds came in, we left 7DMT and headed to Dumbo, Barnstormer, and Ariel before breakfast at about 9:30. The back of Fantasyland is completely empty and easy to ride a few things.

Great tip!

Nice idea! I may have to try that! Does anyone know about how many people they allow during the EMM?

I'm not sure about numbers but we did EMM this past week and numbers did not seem high at all. It felt like there were so few of us enjoying those rides open (the carousel was also running, which my girls loved). We loved how empty the park felt!!

We have this July 16th. I was thinking we would try to eat around 8:40, but now may change to later . :teeth:
Question, with the new opening procedures, what time do they let EMM people back since it says it starts at 7:45?
