Breakfast Reservations before park opens

We have breakfast reservations at Ariel's Grotto at 9:10 before DCA opens at 10:00.

-How do we get into the park since it is not officially open? Is there a certain gate or entrance we are supposed to go through? It is a Tuesday so there is no EMH. Do we just need our reservation confirmation number and park passes?

-Also anyone who has done the princess breakfast, how long does it usually last?

At Disneyland there is a special gate for the Minnie's breakfast when it starts before regular opening. So, that's probably the case with DCA too. I've never done that princess breakfast, but the others are buffets and eat until you're done. We usually stay an hour. I think you can stay as long as you feel, but again I've never done the princess meal.

Is the gate clearly marked and if not, do you happen to know which gate it is.

Yes it is marked. If you are there in the morning you'll notice that there are signs above the gates. They say things like Special Event, Magic Morning, etc. It should be the first gate coming from the bus drop off area. I'm not sure if it says Special Event, or if it actually says Minnie's Breakfast. You can ask on the reservations line. Again that is at Disneyland, but I'm sure it is the same at DCA.
