Breakfast questions?

We leave Tuesday.....we are so excited.

We have Chef Mickey breakfast scheduled for our first full day, Wednesday. I made the reservations really early (7:20), because my kids are such early risers. We are going to do Magic Kingdom right after Chef Mickey, and I have a few questions....

1. If we park at the Continental for Chef Mickey, can we just leave our car there and take the monorail over to MK?

2. How long does the Chef Mickey breakfast actually take?

3. We are staying at Caribe Royale off site, and are unsure about how much time we should allow to get to Chef Mickey...any suggestions?

Thanks!

1. (I think you mean "Contemporary.") No, you can't park there and leave the car (unless you choose to pay for "Valet" parking, then you MIGHT be OK.)
Better to park at the MAGIC KINGDOM lot and board the Resort Monorail and ride to the Contemporary.

2. Allow 45-65 minutes to enjoy your breakfast and to allow all of the characters to come to visit you at your table.

3. The resort info says 1.5 mile to WDW. So assume its more like 5-8 miles ;) to the MK or Contemporary lot. That early, I'd say allow 40-50 minutes to drive, park, board the parking lot tram (if needed), board and ride the monorail, walk to the restaurant (its VERY near the monorail "station" inside the Contemporary.)
And you DO want to be about 15 minutes EARLY for your ADR... couldn't hurt to leave your off-site hotel an HOUR before your ADR time.

Alternate is to drive to Contemp. parking tell gate guard where you are eating, eat your meal, then drive back to MK parking and take the monorail to MK (I would avoid all this, however, and just park at MK's lot when you first arrive.)

Are you staying on site or off? If you are staying on site, then use the WDW transportation (bus, monorail, boat) to the MK and walk to the Contemporary. If you are staying off site, then follow the advice Robo gave you.

Yes, you can park there at no cost. Tell the guard and he/she will issue a temporary parking permit. However, your parking permit will have a time and they do tow your car if you stay after the time on your permit. We had friends that thought they were slick and their car was towed.

You will need to drive to TTC and park your car there and do the monorail or the boat to the park.

We will be eating there for the first time next week so I don't know how long the meal will take. I just hope it will taste good. We have a late breakfast seating so I'm worried the food will be nasty adn dried out since its closer to closing time.

How early does the MK parking lot open and how early can you catch the resort monorail? That seems like a good plan to do it that way. You'd think we'd get pretty decent parking in MK at that time.

Lot would be open about the time you'd be getting there (and PLENTY of spaces at that time).
If for some reason its NOT, just go on to the Contemporary lot and move the car to MK afterwards.
But you should really have no problems.

Enjoy.
