Can't decide where to have breakfast on my last day at WDW. Am staying at the Wilderness Lodge and thought it would be great to have a big breakfast, then hit the Magic Kingdom one more time before I leave for the airport at 12:30pm. Where would you dine and why? How early do these places open for breakfast?

Terk,
I voted before I really thought this one through!

We went to MK early our last day and then went to 1900 Park Faire for a late character breakfast. Then monorailed to the TTC and transferred to Epcot for the afternoon. It was the day after Thanksgiving. We had a 7 p.m. flight back to CT with our Tiffany pick-up at 5:30p.m. We too stayed at WL.

Since your time is limited, I would revise my plans to have an early breakfast at WL's WCC since no travel time is needed to get there. Then hop that bus to MK and back to WL. If you are in a hurry, the bus is the way to go!

We enjoyed our breakfast at the WCC and also at Park Faire 1900. I would hate to be rushed at a character breakfast and the added travel time to get there wouldn't be worth it IMHO.

Enjoy whatever you choose!

I also voted for WCC since you'll be right there. We, however, have started enjoying our last day breakfast over at Trails End. We'll take the boat over (usually will go ahead and take luggage down), have breakfast, take the boat to MK then can head back to WL for the ride home. Enjoy whichever breakfast you choose.

We have started a tradition of Crystal Palace for breakfast on our last morning. They start taking ADR's at 8am. We had an 8:10 and were done and in the park before the rope dropped. So that is my recommendation. It worked out really well. :)

Will you be packing before you go to the park or returning to your room to check out? I picked Crystal Palace so that you can make the most of your park time- get an early ADR and enjoy. ;) What are your plans the night before?

We did the exact thing on our last day, and picked CP b/c it was the only day we could fit in a breakfast w/ Pooh. We got there early, did a few rides, went over for our 10 ADR, and waited at our table for 1 hour and 10 min. before a character even CAME to our side of the restaurant. I'm very glad that wasn't park time were were sitting wasting. We saw Piglet in the food area, but for some reason the rest took forever to get over to our side. By the time they got over, many tables were empty and people were trying to hijack their route to get to their tables quicker. Our waitress was great though, she kept Pooh on track and wrestled him away from a few over eager people to get him to us.

Maybe that was a fluke, and I might try it again, the food was great! I will remember how long it took, though. Also, we weren't on a "schedule" per say, we drove down, and just needed to get on the road, so it was all fine.

Yes. I will pack the night before, then drop the luggage off that morning before I head for the Magic Kingdom. That way it's there and ready to go when I return.

What are your plans the night before?

Plan on hitting EPCOT & the Magic Kingdom on that Saturday (leave on Sunday). If I can get in Wishes & Spectro during the week, then will do the Magic Kingdom in the morning, then hit EPCOT that night.
