Hi everyone! I'm heading to BWI for New Year's Eve.:cool1:

Does anyone know of CS restaurants for Breakfast--either in the hotel or on the boardwalk? I'm thinking of something similar to the food courts at the value resorts. Any ideas?

Thanks!
Sandi

Boardwalk Bakery, Beach Club Marketplace, and there are some kind of light continental offerings in the Bellevue Lounge in the Boardwalk Inn. Or the Swan/Dolphin - but I don't know what they have there.

For the Disney locations, there is nothing resembling a food court @ a value.

In addition to the info already given...the Dolphin is nearby and has Picaboo- an upscale cafeteria style eatery. And they carry Starbucks coffee.

If you're on the dining plan, what they offer at the Boardwalk Bakery is (in my opinion) enough for 2 people! I remember their lunch/dinner is a sandwich that is HUGE plus a side dish, drink, and one of their beautiful pastries (my family liked the fruit tarts a lot!). I think breakfast there is popular, as they bake fresh bagels and pastries there.

I agree with Pikabu's too (did I spell that right?). My DD and I have shared their biscuit and gravy - they have hot items plus fruits, cereal, etc. It's a short walk over from the Boardwalk.

Also, in the Boardwalk, the Belle View Lounge will have continental breakfast available in the morning.

I often grab a Starbucks in the Swan/Dolphin and then head to the Boardwalk Bakery for something. Eating next to the lake on the Boardwalk early in the morning before the crowds get there is the best breakfast on property, way better than an overpriced character breakfast.

There is nothing resembling a Value food court in the area on the DDP. The Picabo would be OOP and I have not eaten here. If you are looking for a hot CS type breakfast this is the best bet.
