Not sure where this should go, but there seems to be a good cross-section of people who post here so I thought it is worth trying.
The other member of my party has very hard to control Type 1 Diabetes. Breakfast is especially tough, he and his doctor and diabetes educator have tried dozens of things to get his AM blood sugar down. The only thing that has helped is no or very little carbs for breakfast.
The second issue is that he moves at turtle speed in the morning!!! I'd like to have something to eat in our room. We will have a rental car. Is there anywhere we can buy hard boiled eggs or premade quiche or something high protein? Otherwise last time we just did half a bagel, cream cheese and salmon lox.
Also, if I ran to the food court, can I bring a tray of food back to the room or is that discouraged?
