We have one morning that we have not decided on breakfast. Should we go to Fresh or the Kona Cafe? We are leaving it up to you. :)

If anyone is a fan of French Toast, then I highly suggest the Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe-- it's out of this world (and a very large portion, too). We try and go here on MK mornings or on days we resort-hop.

My vote is the Kona Cafe..... the Tonga Toast is a treat. The omelets are good too. Or pull out the stops like my hubby did and get The Big Kahuna.

If you enjoy coffee, try the 100% Kona Press.

This is a tough choice Kona is our favorite order from the menu place at WDW. We especially love there Tonga Toast & Omelets. We eat at Kona at least twice for B'fast on every trip.

We ate at Fresh twice in Dec. and just loved it. It is our favorite b'fast buffet at WDW. There made to order pancakes, french toast , omelets roasted ham & turkey are great. They also serve Starbucks Coffee.

So I can't really choose between the two.

We vote for Kona also! We ate there twice last trip! Everyone raves about the Tonga toast, which is very good! But, my favorite are the banana/pecan pancakes! They have a great menu, I'm sure you will find something you'll enjoy! We have a ds(7) and he enjoys it also!:bounce:

Tough question. Kona has always been fantastic for lunch and dinner and I'm sure breakfast is just as great. Fresh is now one of my families favorite so it is hard to choose. If you are big eaters, I would say Fresh. If not, go for Kona. Better yet, go to Fresh for breakfast and hit Kona for lunch or dinner - you won't be disappointed!

Where is Fresh, it must be new, I have never heard of it? Thanks for the help :Pinkbounc :sunny:

yes Where is Fresh?

We love Kona for lunch and dinner, haven't tried breakfast but I am sure it is just as good. We did try FRESH last Dec. and it was fantastic! It doesn't seem to get as much review as others, though, so I'm worried it won't last very long.

At FRESH, they have fresh-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, their egg station will prepare any sort of eggs you like, not just omelettes, and we loved their pancakes and strawberry-cream cheese french toast! They also had some specialty sausages and bacon that were very tasty. Added to all this hot food, they had lots of wonderful pastries.

I don't think you can go wrong with either choice!:sunny:

We tired Kona for breakfast on our last visit. If you get the tonga toast be prepared for tons of grease. When you press down to cut it....the grease will pour out and cover your plate. I did ask for mine grilled but they said it takes to long to cook. I thought I would give it a try anyway. People have described it as "rich". I wish I had tried the pressed coffe. I ordered coffe and it was the same the served at other disney restaurants. We have not tired Fresh but eveyone is making it sound very good...maybe next time!

Tough decision, but we think that we'll try FRESH. We really appreciate the help and will post a review when we return. Thanks everyone. :)
