I have one day to myself while my son goes the water park. He is not breakfast person but I did make one reservation at Kona to try out Tonga toast and macademia nut pancake.

While he goes to the park, I'm thinking I want to enjoy morning by myself at a restaurant. (Once we go back home, I don't think I'll ever have opportunity to have "alone" time for myself. My husband is retired and goes everywhere I go. He is pouting already that I'm going to WDW with my son in November. I would never go to amusement park with my husband especiallly for a whole week. He complains about anything and everything.) Anyway, I have no problem eating by myself.

I've been reading Boma is great for breakfast but I was wondering how is Trail's End breakfast. We already have ADR for Boma dinner on one of the nights.

I'll be paying cash and don't want to spend too much on breakfast but Boma and Trail's End seem to be reasonable.

Which would you recommend? Boma? Trailer's End? or somewhere else that's good breakfast and reasonable pricing? No character breakfast though.

I should also mention we have never been to able TS restaurants in WDW so we are hitting all different ones (I made 15 ADRs for November).

Thank you

Hi Alice...can't help on Boma but I've done TE breakfast several times solo and I think it is a very good value. The warm sticky buns are wonderful!!! Lots of items to choose from.

Here are a few pictures to give you an idea...

We LOVE Trail's End breakfast so my vote would be for that, but I never ate breakfast at Boma. I'd also recommend The Wave at the Contemporary. It's good, reasonably priced and no characters.

As a solo diner, I would choose Trail's End over Boma. So much more relaxed. I used to be a big BOMA fan, but having to deal with all the diners (and kids running around with no supervision) has made it less enjoyable.

A 4th vote for Trails End! We absolutely love all the food, tons of choices, reasonable price. It's our favorite breakfast! And that "moonshine" juice

It just dawned on me that I don't know how to get to Trail's End. If I am staying at the Pop, how would I get there using Disney bus?

One way you could do it is to take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then a boat from the kingdom to Fort Wilderness. I won't lie- its going to take a long time to travel there, but the boat ride is pretty enjoyable and will deliver you right to the doorstep of Trail's End!

.... and as much as I enjoy Boma, if I were dining solo, I would definitely choose Trail's End! :-)

Thank you. I have never been on the boat in WDW and I have lots of time. What time do you suggest I should leave Pop?

Oh, where do I ride the boat?

Give yourself at least an hour trip time for bus and boat. The boat for Fort Wilderness is right in front of entrance to MK. Once the boat docks at FW walk to TE is no more than 3 mins.
TE is a fave of ours for breakfast. We also enjoy the Wave. Boma is great but eating there at dinner will give you a great experience. Once a trip is plenty!

Is weekdays breakfast buffet different than weekend breakfast? I just noticed brunch menu....is that only for the weekend?

I was actually going to vote for Boma (our fav), but after reading these reviews. I'm looking into Trails End for our upcoming trip.
