Breakfast for Animal Kingdom day?

What would you reccomend for a sit down breakfast that is in or relatvely near Animal Kingdom? We will be staying at the Swan and the day we're going is not an EE day.

we have had a great breakfast at tusker house inside the park. another choice would be rainforest cafe there at AK. both would be an excellent choice. happy eating!

If you want a character breakfast - there is Donald's Breakfastasourus in AK.

I would suggest the Rain Forest Cafe at Animal Kingdom for breakfast.

Donald's Breakfastasourus was probably the worst meal we had in 2002. The food was "okay"nothing really wrong with it,but nothing spectacular either, the place was crowded, characters VERY rushed, and we were just not impressed.

Then again, if you have your heart set on a character meal,I guess Donald's would work.
But RFC has such fabulous theming that you wouldn't miss out with it either.

The biggest issue with Rainforest is they don't open until about the same time the park does so you can't eat and get in early. The one time I did this it took forever. (I think they made the bread for my French Toast from scratch LOL!)

If you have a car, have you considered going to Boma at AKL. I really like their breakfast.

Have breakfast at "Fresh" in the Dolphin Resort and then take the bus from there. "Fresh" is excellent!

We love to do Boma when we go to the Animal Kingdom. That said, heavy breakfasts make us feel sick in the heat, so I'd go for something lighter.

We have had great luck with Donalds! We had a 8:10 Ps for a non EE day and were finished just as the park opened. We also love the RFC though we have not had breakfast there. One idea is to have a "snack" before you leave the room and then have a breakfast at RFR around 10:00 or 10:30 after you have done a few of the more popular attractions.
