Help us decide on a breakfast place!! We're staying at the BCV for the first time.

We've never tried Cape May Cafe or Fresh for breakfast, but we've heard great things about both.

We're already planning for breakfast at Crystal Palace another day, and then counter servce the other days. Thank you!!

Fresh is at the Dolphin

we're planning on starting our BCV part of our 2wk vacation with brkfst at Cape May

I chose Cape May because I wanted a character breakfast. But if I were choosing based solely on food, I'd choose Fresh because I've read such outstanding reviews. Come to think of it, I might just try to squeeze another breakfast in and try out Fresh after all! :)

We've never tried Fresh but we love Cape May Cafe! Thought the food was very good and the characters were great!!

Have you considered Spoodles for breakfast? Their food is very good, although it's not an all-you-can-eat buffet.

It does depend on character interaction. If you want a really nice breakfast with a great assortment of choices, I'd go to Fresh.

I've eaten at both, I would say Cape May is a very nice character meal with the "typical" character meal buffet food. Of course they all have thier "little differences", but I think in general, good and typical.

Fresh has a very nice atmosphere, your waiter gives you coffee and explains a few things. You go up to a grill type area, where you order your food and it is made right on the spot in front of you. Omelettes with anything you want, (they have bunches of stuff to choose from), eggs made anyway you want, sausage, bacon, I think waffles and pancakes too, but I didn't order from the other station. In the middle is a buffet table with breads, rolls, fruit, cinnamon rolls, all "fresh" and homemade. There's a "juice" station where you can get some really "different" fresh juices, or the typical.

I thought it was very nice. The restaurant looks like a very nice sit-down restaurant, with the twist of getting your own food freshly made to order, and all you can eat. Good coffee. For something good, different, and yet very nice, I'd give this a try. But for a good character meal, Cape May Cafe is very nice also.

I also recommend Spoodles, a few doors away from the Boardwalk Inn. It is a really nice and quiet place to start your day. All their breakfast foods are really good. My DS and I love their breakfast pizza/flat bread.

We have eaten at FRESH twice and we love it. The food is so good and it's great to watch them make your breakfast while you wait.

we're also planning on Spoodles & Yacht Galley
I looked at Fresh but its only a buffet

Fresh is a family favorite although I am thinking of trying Boma this time since there is a parking fee at the Swan/Dolphin now.

I've eaten at both and I would chose Fresh. Cape May has typical breakfast buffet type foods. While Fresh is also a buffet, the food was tastier and freshly prepared.

I can't speak to breakfast, but I wouldn't miss Cape May for dinner. It's the best meal we've had a disney...lamb, prime rib, and the steamed shrimp were my favorite. Great desert choices...fantastic cheesecake.
