Hey there,

Which would you choose for breakfast? Boma or Tusker House?

I like that Tusker House has characters, but that wouldn't be a deciding factor.

Also, if you had the choice, would you choose dinner or breakfast for Boma?

Thanks!

We've never eaten at Boma but we really liked the Tusker House. The food was great and we loved the characters in their safari outfits.

This!

Tusker House was great (haven't tried Boma either, though.)

I do like Boma but, more dinner than breakfast. I have always found Tusker House to be delicious. Hot, fresh food and great character interaction. I will miss it this trip. :(

I LOVED Tusker House. I don't know what that juice is but it is the best thing I have ever drank. I want to go again just for that juice.

Even without characters, I prefer Tusker. They have a more interesting variety of non-traditional breakfast items.

I love the Boma breakfast, but would not go out of my way for breakfast unless I was staying there. I would travel there for dinner.

Tusker house was Ok but seemed crowded.

LOVE Boma. The eggs with goat cheese- phenomenal.

Going to try more of the "traditional" fare this time.

Jungle juice is exceptional.

The made to order omelets are good too.

If I had to choose I'd probably do Tusker House breakfast and Boma for dinner. I really liked Boma for breakfast, but the only thing that really stands out in my mind a few months later is the goat cheese scrambled eggs, while a few years later, I still remember several things from Tusker House, the sweet potatoes, bread pudding, and some kind of egg and meat casserole. I also found the service to be better at Tusker House, and the location, unless you are staying at AK Lodge is much more convienant.

Boma for dinner is wonderful. I love the soups, varieties of hummus, and most of the meat dishes. Plus the desserts are really good.

We loved Boma for both breakfast and dinner. It's a huge buffet with tons of choices, plus AKL is worth taking a peek at if you've never seen it.

We're doing Boma for dinner after our AK day during our upcoming trip in November.

I didn't go there for breakfast but Boma was AWFUL for dinner. Tusker house gets rave reviews for breakfast IMO. But tops is always crystal palace time and again

Have done both for breakfast. Tusker House is great but as you know its a character meal and I think character meals are always rushed/crazy. Boma on the other hand has a more laid back feel and I think there are more selections at Boma. Seeings that I've ate both places, I would pick Boma for breakfast over Tusher House. Of course, that's just my opinion. :) Happy Planning!!!!!!!!

Tusker House has AMAZING food! They have the biggest and best variety of food! And its always fresh and yummy. :goodvibes Characters are great too. I havent tried Boma yet, but im dying to!! Heard it was great. The goatcheese scrambled eggs look devine!!

We have had bf at Tusker House and we all liked it and would go back.

We have had dinner at Boma. While we all enjoyed the experience, for us it wasn't the best food and we don't think we would go back unless were staying at AKL.

Sorry, can't comment on bf at Boma!

i really love boma's breakfast, and i like the tusker house too. with that being said, i wouldn't travel out of my way in the morning to AKL when tusker house is already in the park.

We did 3 character breakfasts on our last trip and hands down my 3 kids picked Tusker House as the best. I would have picked Crystal Palace but they said Tusker House all the way!

We haven't been to Boma (yet) but I do have it booked for dinner on an upcoming trip. I can't compare the two but Tusker House was really good.

Both are fine but the edge goes to Boma since they don't serve Nescrap - decent coffee is an integral part of any breakfast.
