We are planning on taking our then-to-be 6 and 4 year old daughters to Cinderella's breakfast in the castle during our trip in November. Which do you think is better--arriving for the earliest seating of the morning, or arriving for the latest seating of the morning and making it more of a brunch meal? Is there a difference in the character interaction at either of those times? Do they rush you out of there before the lunch meal starts?

We took our daughters (nearly 3 and 5) to an 8:10am seating on a day the park opened at 9:00am. I have to tell you that it worked out perfectly. We were done with our breakfast and out the door of the castle just about the time the rides in Fantasyland opened. We did not feel rushed at all - in fact, we actually had to wait a few minutes for the rope drop on the back side of the castle before we could enter Fantasyland. First thing in the morning, the characters were fresh as a daisy and so were we! Also, not much waiting in line first thing in the morning for check in or to see Cinderella - my husband looked over around lunch time and noticed a huge line.

And, of course, nothing was quite as nice as entering the park and strolling down a virtually desserted Main Street at 8:00am!

Do the early sitting if you can get it. We got to walk down Main St. with nobody else and got pictures of us in front of the castle with nobody esle in the pictures.:cool1: :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Potentially stupid question: For everybody who has gone early, how did you get to the park? Disney transportation? Did you drive? I'm just wondering if I could make it to an 8:10 seating if I could schedule one for our next trip.

Oh get the early sitting for sure. As mentioned above main street is empty and when you get out the park is just openening so you dont loose out on ride time.

The only ressie we could get was 8:10 am which we loved. It is EMH, so we plan on getting there at 7:00, do Fantasland and go to breakfast. Hope there aren't too many people as we love an empty mainstreet and the advantages of getting great pics of the castle.

bus transportation here. they start at least an hour before park opening. I think as early as 7!;)

I dont think fantasy land is open for those going to breakfast. It would be nice.

We used Disney transportation. In our case, we were at the Wilderness Lodge - we had to take a boat to the Contemporary and catch the monorail to MK from there. We were out the door of our hotel and wandering toward the boat dock by 7:10am. We are early risers though, so it wasn't a problem.

We went to a late seating because it was the only one we could get. The characters were great and they didn't rush us in any way. However, I would agree with everyone else that early is better because it really threw off our tourning plan for the whole day. Plus, we did have to wait quite awhile for our picture with Cinderella.

Next trip, I'm going to try for the earliest seating at CP so we can walk down an empty Main Street.

Early! We had 8:10 reservations in Feb.
Love walking down an empty Main St. and taking pics in front of the castle. We got done with breakfast and were outside waiting for the ropes to drop at 8:55. We went on Dumbo and the Carousel several times each before the lines started building.

We always use the Disney transportation. Even when we drive down. The last time, we stayed at VWL, took the boat to CR and then the monorail over to MK. Allow 45-60 minutes for transportation. Sometimes it took 15-20 other times we were right about 45-50 minutes.
