Breakfast at Resort....and rope drop? is it possible

Oh wow. I just checked Captain cooks and it opens at 7am. I swear it used to be earlier. Although we really just need coffee and maybe some pastries for the kids.

I would also eat in the room or take something you can eat while you are waiting for the park to open.

^This is what we do too.^

The night before, we pack breakfast bars, fruit, a few snack items, and water bottles in a soft, collapsible cooler and store it in the fridge overnight. Easy to take to the parks. We then eat while waiting for park entry (and later in the morning, in lines) - especially good with restless kids.

Waffle House, Cracker Barrel ect are going to be a wise choice for those who have a car. Disney will just not open thier restaurants no earlier for breakfast to save money with staffing.

Is Gasparilla Grill and Captian Cooks 24 hour service though?

Don’t forget MK basically has 2 rope drops - the early entry for Fantasyland & Tomorrowland for onsite and rest of the lands at park open. You have a bit more time to get there if you are going for second rope drop. You could get pastries or muffins from the grab and go section of food the night before. Coffee maker in room. Sleepy Hollow and Friar’s Nook has some breakfast items plus the Starbucks.

No 24-hour onsite restaurants, sorry. Disney's website shows these operating hours, currently:

Capt. Cook's (PVR): 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Gasparilla Island Grill (GF): 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM
