Hi.Thanks. But Im from San Antonio. We're looking for non Mexican food for breakfast as we get awesome breakfast tacos almost daily. Was looking forward to a nice table service brunch in DL. Carnation Café is ok but the RBT menu was awesome
Thanks. But we're there 6 days and will be doing all the character meals. Looking for something other than mickey pancakes and bacon. RBT had such a unique breakfast menuHi.
You may want to try the Red Rose Tavern.
The breakfast is very good there.
Yes I agree. I loved the RBT breakfast. I am there for a week and breakfast is hard to plan. I do not do the character meals but I might do Storytellers breakfast or brunch buffet.Thanks. We’re doing Storytellers as a brunch in hopes there will be some different options. I wish they would opten back some of the nicer optionsYes I agree. I loved the RBT breakfast. Thanks we’re staying at the disneyland hotel. We are looking for something relaxing in the park before our VIP tour. We’re a little different in what we want for breakfast. Being from San Antonio, Texas, The whole city is a bunch of snobs when it comes to our breakfast tacos ( LOL! ) We don’t do “breakfast burritos”. We pretty much have breakfast tacos daily- A smaller, made infront of you flour tortilla that isn’t so stuffed with fillings. Definitely not rice. So we are wanting something different than what we have virtually everyMy fave breakfast is at Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel - loco moco burrito (Hawaiian burrito - get extra gravy) and fluffy Japanese pancakes FTW. Or if you are a WDW Tongo Toast lover get the Tangaroa Toast and then hop on the Monorail to Dland! While not table service the ambiance at the hotel is lovely.
Pyms at DCA again while not TS is unique to DL.

I totally get it. We have one of the few L&L Hawaiians in the country a few blocks down from our house. We eat a ton of Hawaiian style Macaroni salad- which is great! Plus a breakfast taco is literally anything you can put in a flour tortilla including steak and eggs. A burrito is too large of a tortilla compared to what we prefer. And Avocado toast is also something we have quite often because avocados are grown so close to us, are cheap and super fresh. Mexican avocados are so much better than domestic avocados- truly like butter. We’re spoiled LOL. For us, we just want something different and the RBT had a very different menu for us. Plus we will have already been at Trader Sam’s a few times on this trip so opportunities to eat there. We were hoping to find a nice table service breakfast in DL and RBT has been a go to for us for nearly 20 years. They keep closing some of our favorite places. hopefully that changes soon.Tangaroa Terrace serves Polynesian/Hawaiian food. It is nothing like a San Antonio breakfast taco.
Loco Moco is a popular Hawaiian dish. Traditionally, it is a bed of rice topped with a hamburger patty, fried egg and gravy. It is often served with Hawaiian mac salad. At Tangaroa Terrace, they put a spin on it and put the rice, hamburger, egg and gravy in a flour tortilla. If it isn't your thing, you can try other items such as Japanese pancakes, Tangaroa toast, short rib steak & eggs and avocado toast.
Gotcha - if you are willing to head out of the park the avocado toast at Crafsman Grill at the Grand is about as ”California Breakfast” as you can get. The croissant breakfast sandwich is also nice and different - I love arugula so always try and find things that have it.Thanks we’re staying at the disneyland hotel.
