good afternoon!

Hope you all are well - everyone is busy with summer, it seems.

Linda - congratulations on the grades! That is wonderful! How is little mr. Kenny doing these days? YES! My dog is "Dug"! It is so funny! And Raja, from Aladdin, we found. (we had to go back and watch THAT movie, of course!)

Lesa - yay! At least Britt is seeing the light and staying away from him that boy! So many girls that age would be doing exactly the opposite. I'm amazed she's sharing the texts with you, but that is great! You must have a remarkable relationship with her. Why is it that girls seem to find the 'bad boys' so irresistable?? And Maddie? she doing OK too?

Donna - thank you for the breakfast (all of them, of course) - I think I'll skip the cereal from yesterday's and just have the pirate. I think I missed what you said Gary had been diagnosed with? I see where you mentioned a different bread he had to eat. Major dietary changes are tough, but here's hoping that it makes a positive difference in the way he feels. Yes, we have a July trip coming up. We can't wait!

2excited - HELLO!! Still waiting on the house to sell?
She's in the program until January, and yes, she's a princess!! Not her number one choice, but she's thrilled. She's off getting her fairy wings today. I'll be the crazy character stalker lady with the big honkin' lens on her camera.

All is well here - DH is trying to settle into life without the kiddo, which means he's hovering over me constantly. Moose is missing his favorite person as well. We try to video call once or twice a week, and he hears her voice and will sit and even speak for her, but he doesn't understand or know where she is at or where her voice is coming from. It's really kind of funny! I'm hearing the most amazing stories, good and bad, and there've been some interesting ones... probably glad I didn't get a text about one because i'd have probably freaked... but she is enjoying herself immensely and doing remarkably well. She helped open the park yesterday when she was playing with her friend Jasmine, and then Jasmine and Aladdin took a family on the Magic Carpets when Adventureland opened!

Good morning, friends!!

I finally got my wish and it's getting/is hot in S. Il. I think it was in the low 90's yesterday and is going to be the same today and tomorrow.


Dznyfan:: Gary was diagnosed with diabetes a little over 2 months ago. It's been rough going for him trying to adjust to his meds. Our family is eating better now and making smarter choices.
I hope your DH gets adjusted to E not being around. does he have any special interests or hobbies that can keep him busy?
Sounds like E is enjoying herself I know you must miss her terribly, though.

Hi to everyone!! I hope everyone is doing well.

I had to look on the store shelves this morning for the "perfect" Princess Cereal. I had to make several stops before I finally found one with Jasmine on the box!!

well, Kenny is off at a softball game w/a buddy, Mike is at school taking a final, and I have the house ALONE oops...did I say that we have a street sale today and tomorrow...I've been busy preparing!

I did get the ok to go to Cedar Point...ok, the ok to be on my feet more from the Dr CP...here we come!! then I got my hair cut ... shorter than ever in my life!! Kenny's chin about hit the floor I'll have to get a pic sometime. I think it looks really cute! Much easier, that is for sure! then I did I little shopping alonethat's very unusual. I did stop that TDS and picked up a talking "Dug" from UP...Kenny has been wearing the poor thing out. He LOVES It! It is pretty darn cute!

I hope everyone is doing awesome!!! looks like I REALLY need to see a princess at wdw! She sure is a beautiful one!!

It's supposed to be a warm 96 degrees here today; just gotta love summer.(that's me sweating.)


YourMajesty:: I'm glad the cereal last you, but sometimes we have to have a variety.
I would like to see the new JD movie. Maybe we could have a midwest meet in St. Louis and have a party!!


Nathan has been having noon-2pm practice for the last three days. I think they may be playing with the 3rd graders at a 3-4 grade tournament this weekend. Some of the taller boys have been asked to play with them, but haven't gotten any of the details.

My stubborn husband has finally decided to make an appointment with a diabetes specialist....something I've been nagging about for months!! A person he really has respect for at work recommended a dr. in St. Louis, so I guess he listened to him. I guess whatever gets him to another dr. is ok by me.


How about a little protein for breakfast this morning?

Hey Donna...variety is good too...I'm not picky when someone is serving me breakfast! How was the tournament? I'm so glad to hear that Gary is going to see a specialist. I hope that is helpful. I went to a one day conference last Monday but it was really disappointing. Wouldn't a meet be fun...it's been too long.

I'm having my breakfast and getting ready to head to the games. We have about a 2 hour drive ahead of us, so will be leaving early this morning.

Today we are replacing the pole thingys that hold the front porch up. They were rotting and moldy which was drawing icky springtale bugs. DH hates when I get in my destructive mood and just start ripping things apart! Fingers crossed the roof won't fall.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their summer.

The pictures of our Princess are amazing. I hope we can find her while we are there. I would love to have a pic of her and Lilly!!

This was our first week of summer vacation but also the first week of summer football. Matt had 7 on 7 games Wednesday night. Then Thursday and Friday they went to a 7 on 7 camp at the Univ of Michigan. They did really well. Thursday every team played 5 games, then Friday it was a double elimination tourney. The boys played 6 games Friday before they were elimin. Not bad. So 11 games in 2 days. Matt has blisters on his blisters!! Then this morning he had to be up and at the gym for summer basketball. Thankfully he decided not to play baseball this summer. I don't know where he would have found the time.

The kids got such a kick at the Michigan camp. Jon Jansen played for Clawson in high school, then went to Michigan, then played for the Redskins. He has just signed with the Lions (poor guy) and was in Ann Arbor Thursday and came to talk to them. Our kids got such a kick out of it....a lot of other people recognized him and came over to talk to him. It made them feel special that he came for them!

you'll never believe where I am right now (no, not WDW)---

I am sitting at the library using a computer because, well you know why. I have a showing this morning and was booted out of the house earlier than I really wanted, so I am here killing some time.
I have a bridal shower at noon, then over to my parents' to celebrate Father's Day. My sis and the kiddies are in town so they will be over at her in-laws tomorrow, hence the early celebration tonight.


Donna---good luck to Nathan today!!!! Drive safe.
Good for Gary to see a specialist. I'm sure it is difficult for him.


YM----you're too funny!!! Are you hinting for a St. Louis movie party?? I'll get the antipasto and limoncello ready. But, you'll have to excuse my TINY bathroom.
JD sure looks good clean cut and in his suit-----nevermind the weapon---I'd be willing to ignore that.
One of my clients had to drop some tickets off to me the other day and with the tickets she had the issue of Vanity Fair with him on the cover. Boy, am I THAT obvious with my obsession??
oh, p.s.---the real estate agent didn't let me fire him---I was very stern in saying that he has one month and he'd best not disappoint me one more time.


DisnyFan---omg----E looks wonderful!!!! You have to be beaming to know a "real" princess. I'll have to show my niece when I'm at my mom's tonight.

2x glad you could check in! Fingers crossed that you get a bid today. I told you about my neighbor with the 3 boys trying to sell their house. I heard more screaming and yelling over there for them to clean up their mess someone was coming to look at the house. Everytime I hear screaming from there I know they are about to have a showing.

It's funny, our house isn't that old...maybe around 20yrs. The builders used the cheapest materials available so that is why my house has so many problems. I meant that I hope the roof doesn't cave in from our handy work! We did one support pole yesterday but got rained out on the other one. Today is the main support, so I hope it goes well.

Linda I forgot, I hope you post a picture of you with your haircut. I bet it looks really cute.

Nathan has a 11am game this morning. The poor 3rd graders lost both of their games yesterday. Nathan and Blake tried to help them as best they could, but just couldn't pull it off.
I'm NOT looking forward to today at all!!

Hi Donna...how did the games go today? Thanks for the coffee and pastries! Yes, the boards went down while I was typing a message two nights in a row...what could they be thinking? Hmmm....I certainly could entertain the thought of a movie in St Louis. I wonder if my DH would go for that?

Hey Lesa...did you go fishing? DS and DH went for a quick trip to the neighborhood pond tonight...I don't think they were getting any bites. DS's knee is holding up ok. The Dr basically left it where he could play football but he let us know that the conservative Dr's said no and the pro sport Dr's said yes. We are going to let him play but have cautioned him that he may have to stop if the knee bothers him. It's frustrating.

Hi 2x2s...how was the shower and dinner with the family? I sure hope your realator steps it up a bit. I like the one month or done. Hey, any bathroom with a full size tub meets my needs. I have to have a place to read my Plum novels. Did you realize that Johnny is in a ganster movie? Be preprared for some shooting!

Hey Michele...thanks for sharing the pictures of Lily. She grows so much everytime you post a picture. He hair is very pretty and light. How is Zach doing at boot camp? It looks and sounds like Matt is ready for another football season. I bet the camp was exciting.
