Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if the BC Marketplace has breakfast foods? Last year we stayed at the WL and ate breakfast every morning at Roarking Forks? Does the BC Marketplace have breakfast food like they do at Roarking Forks? If not...we'll plan differently...just let me know! ::MickeyMo Thanks!

I don't know about the Marketplace, but since you will in the area I suggest you try Spoodles for breakfast. It is a short walk from the Beach Club, a few doors from the Boardwalk Inn. Their breakfast selections are excellent, especially their breakfast pizza/flat bread. It is a nice quiet place to start your day.

The marketplace has a limited breakfast menu. Croissant with egg and cheese and some yogurt/fruit mix (yummy for me!). There was no where that we could get a quick breakfast for my pancake and bacon loving dd. There is a breakfast buffet at YC that's sit-down. That was the only thing I didn't like about the BC, was the limited options for quick meals (beaches and cream carry-out has very limited choices and is only lunch and dinner).

Besides the buffet, you can also order a la carte at the Yacht Club Galley.

The Marketplace also has baked goods for breakfast.

You can also order room service. If you order the night before with the card, it will be delivered during the 1/2 hour window you choose.

With the addition of the Marketplace, I'm actually now very happy with the choices at Y&BC. Full service, buffet, character buffet, room service and grab n go. YMMV.

That was my only complaint with BC - you can only eat at Cape May so many times!! They definitely need more options. I would not stay there again.

yeh, I had a huge problem with eating half way cheap at the BC...room service was costing me 25 bucks a daY!!! the BC marketplace did not offer much at all........bring your own cerals and buy milk there

I think the Y&BClub resorts now have a nice variety as a deluxe resort should.

It doesn't have a full fledged food court but I think that is a tradeoff for staying at a deluxe rather than a value or moderate. A full service resort really needs to offer room service and sitdown options or it just wouldn't be deluxe.

We like to send whoever gets ready first over to the Broadwalk Bakery to pick up some stuff for breakfast. They have pastries and breakfast sandwiches. It's really good.

This Aug during our 6nights at BCV, DS13 & I are planning brkfst at:
Yacht Galley (day we switch to BCV from VWL & WDW departure days)
Cape May (last full day at WDW brkfst)
Spoodles (day we checkout Boardwalk)
Marketplace
Boardwalk Bakery

all that is great...but if you are like me. I wake around 4am, and need to get my protein in first thing in the morning....when at home I need to eat around 5am....and I do notlike to spend that kind of money on breakfast,,,,what was better for me is when I went to the WL, at least I could get my protein at 6am...for 5 bucks...not 25!!!

the YC is my favorite resort, just wish they had something more like the WL or the Grand(open 24 hrs)

I also appreciate that the GF and Polynesian have 24 hour snack bars but for me it is my early am tea. I think the CR's snack bar still is 24 hours, too. Is WL also or does it open at 6?

BTW, would yogurt in the little frig work for you?

I was thinking that these brkfsts are fine once DS wakes up.
I do however often find myself taking early morning walks. Thats when I need something small to hold me over till a bigger brkfst. I find I get dizzy when I walk on an empty stomach so I avoid doing that. Im thinking of having some type of healthy snack in the room just to get something in.
