Hi,

My friends and I are gonna be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel from October 22nd to the 24th, and I tried to book a breakfast at the 3 broomsticks. Unfortunately since I don't have the official Harry Potter package they told me I couldn't make a reservation for breakfast there. But I recently saw where someone was able to eat breakfast at the 3 broomsticks without a reservation.

Has anyone done this? Is it even possible? If someone has been to breakfast how do they confirm your entry? If I just use my hotel key will they let me in?

It all depends on the number of reservations that they have for that day. Sometimes they will let you eat breakfast there and sometimes they won't. It is advertised as package people only for breakfast, so it is only luck of the draw and very low numbers that will get you in. Do not expect to be let in. Plan to go for lunch instead.

So how would you get breakfast? Do you show up early and ask some where about getting in for breakfast?

You can ask the attendant at the front door of Three Broomsticks. They will let you know if they are taking extras.

We where there on Sept. 11 and again on Sept. 17 and had breakfast on both days without reservations. At about 9 am, while we were taking advantage of the early entry, I just asked the person at the door and we were let in without problems. The first day was very slow, the second day was more busy. In a worst case scenario, try the breakfast at Pastamore in Citywalk, it is very good, less than $10 and they serve the best hot chocolate! :thumbsup2

We thought about trying breakfast there this past Sunday while staying at RPR. We inquired at the concierge desk Saturday night and was told to check with the entertainment desk Sunday morning. We went to the entertainment desk Sunday morning at 7am and was told that there was an 8:30 reservation open. However, because we had to pay up front ($15 per person) and that the time occurred during early entry for onsite guests, we decided against doing breakfast.

Just remember, stay away of The Kitchen at HRH... Oh boy!, what a waste of money... food is tasteless and service is below average!
