On the final day of our vacation to the World in September, we have to be at Pop to board the ME at noon to meet our plane. We would love to have a fun, goodbye to WDW breakfast at a TS resturant before we leave. I'm thinking a 9am or so reservation, and if it's at a park maybe squeeze in a ride or two. We have previously had breakfast at Crystal Palace and Tusker House, and will have already done the Ohana on our first day at WDW this trip.

Any suggestions? We want to go somewhere we have not been before, and the advice of my fellow DISboard peeps has not let me down yet!

Akershus, in Epcot. You meet Belle and have photos taken and then are seated at your table. There is a cold buffet and they bring a breakfast platter to the table. The princesses come around to the tables.

We always go to Chef Mickey's for our farewell b'fast. We drop our suitcases off a DTD and then go to our 9am ADR. We then spend a few hours at MK. :goodvibes

You might try Whispering Canyon Cafe if you're not looking for a character breakfast. Not as rowdy as dinner but still much fun and the lodge is always inspiring.

Another favorite for us is the Grand Floridian Cafe. Great service, great food, great atmosphere.

We loved our character breakfast at Cape May last year. It was loads of fun. The characters were awesome and the food was great! However, it is not the easiest restaurant to get to. You would probably have to take a bus to Hollywood Studios and then a boat over to the Boardwalk. Since you have to be back at POP by noon, it may be not be the easiest choice. We also really liked the breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. It would be more convenient to get to.

Chef Mickey's one complete loop of the monorail in the front if possible. If time over to the MK for a few fav rides.:goofy:

I vote Captain's Grille at the YC. It is a relaxing end to your trip--no characters. Plus the YC is so pretty! You can either order off the menu or get the buffet. I LOVE eggs benedict and they have it here! They also told us when we ate here in May that if you order the buffet they will make you eggs to order if you want. You could take a cab from your hotel to YC and then walk into Epcot or take a boat to DHS for a few rides after breakfast. Then catch your resort bus from either place back to catch ME.

Have a great trip!

On our last trip DH and I had our final meal at Kona Cafe. It was a nice and relaxing breakfast before a long drive back home and a great end to a great vacation. If it is going to be a hectic day, I would personally try to do something low key. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourselves no matter where you decide to eat :thumbsup2

How would you feel about a buffet at Boma (AKL)? You could then kill some time checking out the animals on the savannah.
