We have an 8AM reservation at Tusker House the week of Thanksgiving. The park opens at 8AM that day. Are we allowed in early for our reservation? Really hope we can avoid the FOP stampede.

If they hold to what they've been doing, the FoP stampede will begin by 7:45, if not a bit earlier. You don't have to be a part of it as you will be headed in a different direction. Just go to the right at the entrance instead of to the left.

Yes you will be allowed in prior to the 8am reservation

Thanks for the replies. I'm not a big fan of the rope drop rush. I wanted to cancel the reservation when the park opening changed to 8 AM, but my kids want to do it. We can't move it later and still keep all of our FP selections, and I don't want to cancel those. Sounds like we'll encounter crowds but maybe not as bad as I fear.
