This just goes to show the diversity of climate in the great United States. It will be 80 here in Texas today and tomorrow until a cold front comes in late tomorrow night and drops us to the 50's for Thanksgiving!

The kids' bus drivers told me the roads are a mess. I haven't seen any sanders yet, so I'm thinking my Walmart run may be postponed....I've lived in New England my whole life and I still hate driving in snow!

When I first saw the white stuff, I thought it must just be a passing flu#@&. Now it's sticking to the ground! I'm not ready for this!!! Just a few days ago I was in the 90 degree temps of SoCalifornia, now I'm the frozen tundra of New England!

In New England terms, it really isn't too bad. Probably about 1/2 inch. I haven't ventured out. Saw the sn&* and told DS were having a lazy day at home. I'm not sure how the roads are. You know how people are for the first sn*&fall - all driving like maniacs.

OOPS!!! WE need to give Kim a warning..after all she wasn't hear for the naughty mat issue last year...

Yep, it's the dirty four letter word...
Usually anything related to that word must be covered in some way with other little marks so it's never uttered..

BTW, can I just tell you how glad I am this is a short week at school!!!!
On the otherhand, the kids may wish it was a long week... report cards come home for the first tri-mester tomorrow.. they may be wishing they were back in school! According to the progress reports Friday they all had A's or A/B's...so I'm not complaining too loudly... Just encouragement to leap over that B to an A... (no, they don't know mommy got B's in school.. so no tattling on me!)

I hear ya on the short week! DD's last day is today. So she had no spelling words or math to do!!! Congrats on the good grades!! And your secret is safe with us.

short week here too but Friday is nuts. DS6 and 7 have checkups at 9:30 which means leave here at 8:30, DD has her first haircut at 1, and DS11 has a sleepover at the neighbors at 7pm. Lots of running!! Speaking of running, gotta jet to school. I have 2 monsters waiting for me.

I want photos of my nieces first haircut..and why are we cutting it.. you know we have LONG hair in our family!!! (just not the boys!)
OOOH!! DH cut the boys hair this weekend.. I have photos.. He did a great job..and what it cost to have both boys' haircut is what it cost for the whole system he bought... now to figure out how I can cut his hair or he can just go to salon...
