Brazilian Tour Groups

I just got back last night from a week at the parks with the BTGs everywhere (about 10+ groups of 100 each). I had to write this morning to say that they were VERY well behaved for such large groups of teens. I've seen so many posts pointing out their negative behaviors, but since I didn't even see one instance all week I had to post this.
I'm not saying previous posts have been incorrect, but with the kids I saw, I would have been proud to have them representing my country abroad. Perhaps the tour operators and Disney have reached some mutually beneficial understanding.

I agree, im not brazillian but i have been to disney MANY times and they have been there almost every time i have gone and i have never had a problem with them. I ususally never have problems with ANY of the tour groups the groups that really annoy me are the field trips that the local schools take to disney, they were trying to pick fights with disney guests!
Some people try to complain about the cheerleaders but i have only had one bad experience with them but they are usually good the cheerleaders and the brazillans are just groups of young people having fun:)

We usually go in October and have never experienced the Brazilian groups, though I've heard alot about them on different boards. We just got back from Orlando and spent half a day in Epcot and MK and were at DtD a couple times. We saw TONS of Brazilian groups and all of them were very well behaved. A friend of ours who works at POP said that they aren't even allowed to stay there anymore because they've trashed it so many times in the past(I remember her telling us about an incident where feces was found in the toilet TANK...can't remember the other stuff she told us about). Regardless of how well behaved they were this time around, I do hope we never have to deal with these groups again...only because there were so many of them and their chaperones would get in line at FP machines and run several tickets thru at a time to get FP for the whole group. It was ridiculous. Groups staying together like that make for LONG lines everywhere.

Wow, then its a good thing that they can not go back to the hotels

My past experiences with the Brazilian tour groups were not good, but this year they were very well behaved. I didn't see the rudeness or shoving, pushing and line breaking I had seen before. In fact, one group had us go ahead as we had somehow gotten in the middle of their group. I was pleasantly surprised at the good behavior and politeness this year! :goodvibes

I agree that the Brazilian tour groups are huge and can be loud (we just got back last night after 9 days at WDW) but they didn't really bother us or affect our plans. There were times (before Fantasmic, for example) when their enthusiasm was really a lot of fun.

I agree with this. We also got back last night, and while I was astounded at the sheer number of them, they were all very well behaved and caused no troubles at all that we saw.
