well...i just read online that brazilian school holidays are from dec until ash wednesday, which this year is on FEB 25th. now i'm worried. dh is not going to be happy with this news...
Brazilians are just loud people who enjoy life. The culture there is different than it is here. If you went there, they would probably say that you were rude too.
)

Completely selfish, inconsiderate and rude. And it's not just some of them - it's all of them.

This may be true but it is not something that should be tolerated or looked the other way by WDW. Unruleness, and line jumping should be handled severely in order for this to stop. Guests who choose to be respectful, don't line jump, or inflict bodily harm on another guest deserve the opportunity to enjoy their vacation. They should not feel intimidated by any thugs. WDW in no way should allow their safety and enjoyment to be infringed on.
When I was in college I worked at Cedar Point(Ohio) for two summers during my break. They did not tolerate unruliness or line hopping at all. If caught you were removed from the park, were not permitted to return for the day, and did not receive a single penny back as a refund. In fact there were signs posted reminding them this would not be tolerated. Perhaps this is the same approach that WDW should do.![]()

It's amazing how Americans are not allowed to criticize any other nationality these days.
I can only read this post . . .and shake my head. Do you really believe that an entire nation of people can be quantified like that?![]()

) On only one trip to Disney did we notice several large groups of Brazillian teenagers and that was June-July '07. My son (then 8yo) loves teenagers (probably because I work with so many teens and they are always so good to him!) and when he noticed them speaking Portuguese, right away he shouted "hey Brazilians!" We followed some onto the fp return line at Splash Mountain where they moved so quickly that they were loading by the time we worked our way up there and another day we followed a group onto the Rockin' Roller Coaster fp return line. On RRC ds got to talk to them in line and loved it, one of the girls spoke the best English and so she talked to him the most.
We were there over Christmas and couldn't escape one group! I was sitting down on the curb for a place for Block Party at DHS and was PUSHED out of the way by this woman (who I later noticed in the tour group). A very kind family made room for us begind them so my kids could still see. The nice woman must have seen this (being that it was directly across the street) because she made a comment about the woman's nationality and being with a tour group. I don't like to stereotype, but the teens that were in the parks and staying at ASSp to preform in the Capital Bowl were 100 times more behaved than those in the tour groups. I also, don't know that is has to do with nationality...more the tour group mentality.
I was hoping they wouldn't tour in Dec.
When we were at Disney in June 06, they were obnoxious.

Criticize whomever you want. But let's not pretend our kids are perfect and would never act this way.![]()
Do a search of on Pop Warner - SOME American kids can and do behave just as badly as the tour groups. Each December we have thread after thread complaining about the football players and cheerleaders.
It's not about race or nationality. The problem is a lack of supervision.
