Hi Everyone,

I am heading down on Monday to the World :goodvibes .. and its been awhile since I went during the summer (I normally go in off seasons). Can you please let me know if the Brazillian Tour Groups are there in early August as well as July? I do remember the problems I have encountered in the very far past with some of these groups:headache: . Its too late to change the dates of my trip, but would like to be prepared for the possibilities of these groups if I can or more importantly prepare my husband..:rolleyes1 .

Thanks!!!

I really can't remember seeing too many of the tour groups on our August visits. I had to smile at your question because I asked the rest of my family about the tour groups we used to see on our long-ago July trips and they barely remembered them! I sure do!

Thanks Beccasmom...

I used to go as a kid w/my parents in late August  and dont recall them.. Then a couple of times as an adult I had gone in Late May/Early June and then again in July.. and had MANY problems :headache: w/running into these groups.. After reading the Best tip dont go in July.. I was panick stricken that I might have booked us in during their trips...

Thank you so much for your reassurance!!! I am so psyched.. I cant even begin to tell you. This is our BIG family vacation that I have been planning for almost 2 years. It involves my sister, dopey BIL and their newborn, my inlaws, my step children, and my parents.. and of course my DH!! The step children were the reason this trip is NOT off season this year. :confused3

By August, most of the tour groups have gone home.

We were in WDW July 12-29 (well, some of those days were at Sea World/Universal) and we saw a BILLION Brazilian tour groups. Overall, though, I have to say they were very well-behaved. The only slight irritations were when we were in line and they started singing/clapping or when we were seated waiting for a show (at Sea World) and they started with a semi-wave. For the most part, they were very well behaved.

How do these groups travel? Where are they staying - on or offsite? Do they just send their kids - I didn't see many adults with any of these groups.

The last time we went was during September about 4 years ago and the groups BTG's were typical kids. I don't recall any major issues with them other than the fact that there were lots of them and they were all dressed alike.
