Well...what to say about the issue. What is really the issue? I understand that people are loud at times and that...well, they are in the U.S. and that they should respect our customs. But really, what are customs? We have multiple cultures in the US, all nations living under one flag...for better or worst...but that is what makes us who we are. Acceptance! As a military officer, I tell you this much...we need to accept people and their cultures...is what makes us unique. Do we respect people's culture when we are abroad? Really? Are you sure? You can probably speak for yourself, but you can't speak for the rest of the US Citizens? I am a US citizen...born here in the US and raised in the Island...but I am proud of my cultural differences, my heritage as a Puerto Rican as well as an American. Have any of you been overseas like Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq, even to some remote Caribbean Island? It is amazing how different we all are...and what we seen to be loud for us, is common down there. How you think they view us when we are in another country? That we may be spoiled, we are arrogant, that they only thing that we are looking for is a McDonald...why are they not speaking our language (English)? We are the tourist in their country, we are their guest and they should speak our language....right? Nope! We are the guest, but they don't need to accomodate us. However, they know the pro's and con's of speaking another language in order to help their economy. So, why I have gone this far? Because sometimes is better to put ourselves in someone's else shoes so we can understand them. Even if you don't understand differences in culture, you are right...is no excuse for some ...let's call it, undesirable behaviors. We, the US Citizens of this country, no matter where we come from, have an unique characteristic among ourselves...we have freedom to express ourselves (guarantee by the US Constitution)...and that is what I am fighting for all you on a daily basis...for better or worst. Can I ask you this, can we be more forgiving and tolerant to others that are different from us? I surely do on a daily basis...here abroad as well as back home.

First, I completely respect and 100% thank you for your service to us and your country.

Second, there is no excusing bad behavior, no matter who is doing it. In this case the offender happens to be the large tour groups from Brazil. I will not accept bad behavior just because they are from a foreign country. I have travelled and conducted business in 10+ foreign countries all over the globe and do my best to abide by the customs, and always be nice/polite. Unfortunately, from the sounds of it, the same cannot be said of some of these tour groups. I'm sure there are a LOT of very well behaved kids in these groups, and like most things, the few rotton apples spoils the bunch. The problem is, when there are SO many visitors in BTG's, there are a lot of chances for there to be bad apples.
I understand the chanting, and if it is common in Brazil that it would be a hard habit to break. I can say this though, it would drive me a little nuts if it was bad enough. I hope Disney clamps down on it, and it sounds like they might.
I just cannot excuse bad behavior, no matter who is doing it. Foreign or domestic.
Anyhow, stay safe and God bless.

Dan
