I'll start this off...

My current obsession and the last professional show I've seen is Rent. Ever since my community theatre did it this summer I have been obsessed with everything to do with it. Recently went to see it with Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp in their roles and it was the best show I have ever seen in my entire life! I think it would be so amazing to play Mimi...she is such an interesting character and the music/message of that show would be something I would love to be a part of.

And don't know which thread this belongs on but my update on the show I'm in...Annie:

Rehearsals started for Hooverville number, so I'm in all my appleseller glory. And I recently found out during the NYC number, I am going to be a nun walking around the streets of NYC. So I'm a nun...for the second year in a row!

ahhh so ur a rent head?????? the most recent professional show i've seen was addam's family. OH.MY.GOSH... AMAZING!!!!! it was better then wicked, and i LOVED Wicked!!!!!!!! the cast was amazing and it's rumored to be up for several tony's!!!!!! i sat throug hit twice, the first with my school, the second with my grandma who had an extra ticket after my grandpa bailed.

glad to hear Annie is going well... we start tech next week ... u never know whats in store! saw all my costumes together for the first time the other night, they are all dripping with feather boas!!!!!! i've got this huge, teased out wig with a big bow, it's awesome!!!!!! i love getting to play roles as crazy as this!

so excited... got our choir music for our choir trip!!!! we get to sing "mama who bore me" from spring awakening! i'm a huge gleek so to be able to sing a song the *fabolous* lea michelle sang on B-way is sooo rad!!!!

Our Music Man rehersals are going so fantastically! We coreographed (sp?) Iowa Stubborn today. Yet 76 Trombones is the song stuck in my head.
I have three lines and a solo in Wells Fargo Wagon.

I'm gonna take the Fall Play class at my school next year. This year, they did Lunatics at Large and it was really cool.

^ wow! was billy elliot any good???? i saw the touring cast info and it looks iffy to me.

wicked(three times, bway, tour, and chicago extended)
mary poppins(bway and tour)
legally blonde (tour)
tarzan (bway)
addams family (twice- pre-bway run)
dirty rotton scoundrels (twice bway and tour)
jersey boys (chicago extended)
young frankinstien (tour)
peter pan (tour)
beauty and the beast (tour)
les miserables (tour. my parents new i loved musicals then, i sat through a three hour musical and made sense of it at age 7!!!!!)

i'm going to see 101 dalmations when it's in town, family friends of ours are close buddies with the composer.

i've probably seen over fifty off broadway shows, and far too many comunity shows (gotta support my friends!)

I hope not.. I slept through the entire thing. It was the last play of a 6 show, 4 day trip, and we had been staying up til 1 and waking up at 8 every day.

Just checked.. nah he wasn't.. he did it in 2008, I saw it last October.

Billy Elliot was one of my favorite shows of my last New York trip... the rest of my party didn't care for it as much, but I think the music is fantastic and the acting and dancing is AMAZING.

The dancing, I'm not a dancer at all, and I was still totally in awe.

I was in three plays at my junior high...Beauty and the Beast, High School Musical, and Bye Bye Birdie. I consider them the highlights of being in junior high. I loved being a part of the shows.

tech week ahhhhhhh!!!!!

today they started loading the sets into the theatre!!!! tomorrow we have a 5-10 rehearsal, have no clue how i'll fit homework in! the ytold us the other night that our school show (cutting class to preform for elememtary school kids) has sold over 1000 seats!!!! our saturday night is closely following that number!!!! the most i've preformed in front of is about 800... normaly i don't get nervous, but i'm one of the leads, so i'm freaking out! i know i shouldn't be, but i can't helpit! i'm multitasking right now, disboarding and packing my laundry basket for tomorrow . got an awesome mix on my ipod for the A dressing room, music helps me calm my nerves! tell y'all tomorrow how the first day goes!!!!!

I actually think I liked The Lion King better than Wicked. And I've seen Peter Pan with Cathy Rigby.
They were all amazing.

I would love to see RENT.
I'd like to see Next to Normal, and Avenue Q (My mom probably wouldn't approve. Lol) too.

I saw Chicago on broadway. It was amazing.
Then I saw RENT when it was on tour, and I met Anthony Rapp. RENT is definitley my favorite show.

the lion king is the only disney musical i've yet to see (going to see little mermaid this summer!!!!) that was never my favorite movie when i was young

If you mean Lion King was never your favorite movie, I don't think it'll matter. I've never really cared for Lion King, but I thought the show was amazing.
