BRAND NEW CORONADO SPRINGS FAQ THREAD w/ PHOTOS (PART IV)

Our reservation is for 8:25 and Epcot opens at 9:00 that morning. Reservation person said to be there by 8:00 to allow time for walking to the restuarant and arriving 15 minutes early as they stated. Will a bus be going that early and if not, how do we get there?

Yes there are busses that travel to the character bkfsts a 1/2 hr before first seating --
usually around 7:30.It says char.dining on it.

Hey folks! Me and DD got in near midnight last night due to our flight being delayed. We have a pool view refurbished room in 7B in the ranchos..right near the Cabanas and the bus stop! The CM told us that we are the first guests to stay in this refurbed room. Cool!

I brougt my laptop but my iPhone is really paying for itself. I'm posting while on the bus to the magic kingdom!

Brand new room!! Wonderful!! We had one at POR right after the refurb...it smelled soo good...not one guest in it before us. Pretty cool! I know you're having fun!!

I am packed ready to go. I have poured over this thread since I booked my trip in Nov. I have mostly been a lurker. I thank you all for your various tips about CSR. This is our first time staying there. I have read all the negatives post about CSR lately and I am going there with an open mind. I am on vacation I do not let little things bother me. As long as somebody else is making the beds in the morning and cooking dinner at night I am happy. See you in a week.

My family and I are SO excited for our first trip to CSR, and have learned so much from this thread! Using all the information here, I just put in a request for Cabanas 8A to be right next to the Dig Site & close to the bus. Now I'm crossing my fingers that we get it.

I have one question for the CSR vets, though. I know I should know the answer, because I've stayed at Moderates before, but do they have towels at the pools, or do you need to take them from your room? If you need to take them from the room, is housekeeping good at leaving extras so that we've got plenty of dry towels for the family?

Hi, Karen! There are towels at the main pool and also at the quiet pool by Casitas 4 (this is because it is next to the fitness center/spa). I'm not sure if they are by the other quiet pools. There is a note in all of the rooms that says "please take towels from the room to the pool with you and we will leave you extra towels." If they don't leave them, just call mousekeeping and have them deliver them.

We're back!! We were on the fourth of Casitas 2. Whoever designed that 4th floor needs to get a new job. You can only use certain elevators and certain stair wells. Our mousekeeping was great. We found the buses to be efficient. I'll be writing a trip report soon.

Did online check-in, faxed my room request, have been playing with the new online ADR to pick up a few more, got a confirmation call from Garden Grocer. I'm sure there are things I am forgetting. Enjoy the room! Our room was in Cabanas 8B and its location worked perfectly for us. How great that you're the first guests to stay in that room.

Towels are available at the Dig Site but you'll need to take one for the Quiet Pool. At first we had a difficult time getting extra towels left for us. It took 2-3 days of written requests until finally Mousekeeping left enough for us. After that the towels in the room were plentiful. Have a great trip!

My best tip & it's one that I regret not doing is taking time to relax & fully enjoying the resort! We're used to a "do nothing" stay on the beach vacation every year so Disney was very new to us. We did not take a day (or two) or even a half day to rest, take the kids to the pool, etc. Have a great trip!!

I am sure this has been asked before, but we are staying CSR Aug. 25 - Sept. 1 we've requested Casitas 4 or 5 connecting rooms, as we are traveling with friends.

Is Pepper Market a quick service?

And...

Do they have good adult "drinks" at Siesta's? I can't seem to find them listed anywhere.
