Boys character breakfast to start April 1???

I have called a few times and so far no luck. The CM I spoke to was sooooo nice- she told me to just keep calling back every few days. My DS 9, DS8 and DS3 would totally love this. I hope it's going by the end of April!!!!

I just called this morning to see about the breakfast...still no information available about it...the woman on the phone was actually kinda rude when I asked...obviously lots of people are calling.

I am sure everyone will keep us posted when the ressies open so we can all get in!

Even though I don't have boys...I know my DD would LOVE it there.

In my excitement I told my son we'll be eating breakfast with Buzz. Boy I hope this comes though by the end of April.

Do the cm's honestly know nothing about this or do they just have to say that until the information is released. This is just my curiousity, I know that I would have such a hard time keeping this quiet if I knew something.

I'm sure the CMs know something about it, but until it's OFFICIAL, they have to keep it under wraps!

We are going in December, and this would be great for DS who will be 5 by then!

I have heard in the past that the CMs have been informed the day before they opened ADRs for new dining things...so it is likely someone calling on the right day...I am debating starting to call daily starting on the 1st of February.

Can't wait to hear about it. Today I called and booked Ohana's just in case we cannot get into the Toy Story one.

I called yest. just to make my regular adrs and specifically asked the cm about it. She asked me what the exact name of it was. And she put me on hold, so I knew she was talking to a supervisor. I told her I read it on the internet, blah, blah, she came back on and said, sorry we know nothing official about this. I also booked ohanas just in case this doesnt come through. My ds asked for it last time and we didnt get there. So I also did leave a little wiggle room in my adrs to squeeze the mgm one in if it becomes available.

I wonder if they(WDW) could not do a Character Meal with Pixar Characters Because of the potential split between companies....BUT NOW that Mickey & Buzz are Corporate Cousins, they can go ahead and release this great, fantastic meal !!

Actually, my guess is that you are probably right. A few years ago when they cancelled the H&V character meal, they had to call me to tell me since we had a PS for it. In my conversation with the CM I inquired about maybe oneday there being a Toy Story meal. The CM said that it would not be possible because their contract with Pixtar does not allow it. Now since Disney is buying Pixtar, they would have the rights to use the characters.

I just talked to our family last night, and we decided we want to do this for a surprise for my DNephew for his birthday in June (when we go on the trip as a family).

I hope they start taking reservations soon! I really want to make this happen for him.

BTW, does anyone know if I tell them it is his birthday, do they do anything special at character meals? Never been to one for a birthday before.

I have decided to start calling each morning when I get to the office to see if they know anything. And the woman is TOTALLY clueless...WOW...she said that I am the first person to tell her about this meal! So I will keep trying.

As for bithdays...I know the other restraunts will sing to them, bring out a cupcake or you can pay and have them bring out an actual cake. We did my daughters second birthday at Chef Mickey's and then we are doing my youngests first birthday at Crystal Palace. The CM told me at CP they will dance around with her for her birthday...if DD will let them!

PS...one suggestion the CM said today was that the www.disneyworld.com website will list the character meal on the day that they start taking ressies for it...not sure I believe it, but that is what she claims. Might be a way to check just to see without having to call.
