DSS and DH are already on our ADRs for CRT. And I don't think they will complain too much. But for 2 TS credits, I am wondering if it would make more sense to send the boys somewhere else in the MK to eat. It doesn't have to be a character meal or anything like that because we are doing Chef Mickeys later in the week and that will be sufficient. I am just looking for someplace for the boys to eat that is a little more "manly". Would prefer not CS since we will all be tired of that by the end of the week anyhow.

Honestly, I don't see a 10yo boy getting much out of CRT. I'd let the guys go ride Space Mountain a bunch more times while you and your DSD have girl time.

I am probably in the minority on this one but I'd say let them go. DH asked me to take him off our CRT breakfast ADR Nov. 2005 trip... Well guess who was asking to go back on our Jan 2006 trip? DH! He loved the food but didn't care much for the princesses but Jasmine gave him a sword and told him he was to protect the girls at our table. My DDs thought it was hilarious.

My boys (ages 10,7 and 6 now) had a great time at lunch with Cindy. NOW...if you are lloking for something else, then I would send them to dinner at LTT. Liberty Tree Tavern is a great meal (nothing fancy...think a cross between Thanksgiving dinner, a Sunday afternoon meal and a Stouffers (sp) meal).

Something to note...you may not be able to get a table for a smaller party size. I would call in and see if that is possible before changing anything.

That has never happened to me, but I have read about it on the boards.

HAVE FUN! ENJOY YOUR MEALS!!:thumbsup2

I actually 'made' both of my boys years back attend this with me because it was something I had always wanted to do. They were 11 and 8 at the time. They were so upset with me...said they felt so silly at a girl sort of event with all the princesses running around.

Well...that was over 5 years back and they got past it...they're still in therapy but they are coping...;)

Just teasing on that last part but truly...they duck their way around the castle every since that time. I think they have flashbacks or something.

They could hop the monorail over to the Contemp and go to Chef Mickey's, or catch a boat to the Wilderness Lodge and go to Whispering Canyon.

Or they could do Cosmic Rays. If they did that you'd have an even 4 full service meals left on your dining plan.
