Bowflex help

DH has wanted a Bowflex for years. I'm hoping with my ChaCha income I can actually buy him one of the cheaper end ones. Has anyone purchased a Bowflex and can tell me about it? If so, can you let me know what model you got? Thanks!

I have always wanted one as well........... I ordered the DVD from them that tells you all about all the options that they offer. Never got it........... so I gave up on wanting one.

I know nothing, but if you are a member of sunshine rewards they have a link to get 4% on a bowflex purchase! Now wouldn't that be fun? Get money from a site like that and use the money to get other rewards? Wheee!

I have no idea what the model is, but DH found one locally on Craigslist....was about a year old and he got it for $200.00. It is in PERFECT shape and he uses quite a bit....DS13 even uses it!

About 5 years ago, we bought one of these from sears:

It worked great for the first year, then it continued to break. It had a 10 year warranty from Sears, but after the fifth time having the motor unit replaced and waiting over 8 months for parts they could not get anymore, Sears replaced it with a Bowflex, one of these:

Now, I wish we had bought the Bowflex instead of the Weider Crossbow. It gives a great workout, and even my 10 year old daughter is learning how to use it. We love ours.
