I stopped over there today and I asked for the man that Gumdrop told me about. I did speak to Bud. He was very nice. I told him that some people are staying there on Friday night before the cruise and that we were planning to get together to meet everyone. He took me out to the pool which was very nice but it was very crowded. He said they do have meeting rooms but they charge for them. They have a big breakfast room and he said we probably could use it and it is free. He asked me if they grouped their reservations and I said I wasn't sure but I didn't think so. HE said he would of given them a group rate.
The place is very nice and he was so friendly. So I guess we will stick to the pool area and if it is crowded or closed we can maybe use the breakfast room.Someone mentioned ordering pizza. I am sure one of the several pizza places on that road would deliver or we could go pick it up.
Things are all falling into place and this time next week we would have met some of our fellow disers. The excitement is building.

Thanks so much for checking on this! We'll be arriving a little later so we'll look at the pool and if no one is there, check out the breakfast room . I think I remember reading that Kelsey's is a good place to get pizza (I'll go google it and make sure). We probably won't decide what we will eat till we are all together, but I like the idea of bringing food to the hotel so we have time to meet with DISers! :thumbsup2

Here's a link to Kelsey's http://www.kelseyscanaveral.com/

A tie for the boy....

I am several items closer to leaving ....now I have to start packing them all:upsidedow

DH asked about whether we need hangers for our clothes. I seem to recall there being some hangers in closet but didn't know how many. I figure we will have more pants then shorts this time since it will cooler. Can anyone remember how many hangers are in the closet (approximately-I don't expect anybody to have an exact answer) and whether or not we can ask for more if we need them?:confused3

Not more than 10 wooden ones. :confused3 I always take a handful of wire hangers and leave them. :thumbsup2

Not very chatty today! :confused3 Must be too busy packing. :laundy:

I hunted down more answers.
The R5 line from Placa Espanya is run by FGC.

Network map: On the left (west) side of the map, you can see the rainbow of lines coming out of Pl. Espanya (in the middle bottom of the map)

Pl. Espanya is on the 1st ring (corona) if you see those words somewhere

Lynne - Thank You! Really... :cloud9:

You're welcome. This was not easy to find - :surfweb: multiple google searches with bits and pieces that finally lead me to the right place - I can see why you weren't getting what you needed (and yet it is all so neat when you get to the right spots). I feel good about my effort - then realized I needed train info for Cadiz to Seville - and starting looking at Renfe; how user unfriendly.

I've heard that you could probably get extra wire hangers from your stateroom host.;)Like the ones you left on the last cruise:rotfl2:I'm just happy to find a new home for my wire hangers.:yay::yay::yay:

With so many on the way to Florida all ready do you think this thread is going to make 250 this week. People are dropping (or taking off for DWD and PC) like flies:rotfl:

I'm all packed. We leave tomorrow.
One checked bag, 27 lbs.

Woody

Some of us are really envious...a suitcase that weighs only 27 lbs....leaving for FL tomorrow...the envy is more than I can take. Guess I'll just have to stay here and communicate with whoever or whomever is left over what's whiter...shoes...slacks...or legs:banana::banana::banana:

I ask for extra hangers every cruise and always get them without a problem!!! :thumbsup2

My DH is asking if the ship has a pilates class. Anyone know?

You may be right. My guess was that we hit it Saturday, but I know we will be busy packing tomorrow. But, I have a few days of work next week and will be hanging around.

No.

Woody

Are you planning on doing laundry after a week maybe? Or does your wife do the laundry?

That's my problem weight wise I think. I do not want to re-wear things to much and I definitely do not want to do laundry on my only 2 weeks off from it when I generally do 7-10 loads in a normal week at home (yes, family of 7 under this roof). The only other problem I may be having is I, nor my husband are a small size so more fabric equals more weight! and yeah, I'm sticking to that story! It can not be the shoes or books or over the door ahnger or the magnets or the. . . .

Maybe I'll be talking to myself:confused3

nah, I'll still be sorting and packign right up until we have to toss it in the car to get to the airport! And DH works on Friday the 9th so. . .we'll be here a fdw more days too.

Yes, this is all correct. I thougth I posted about it several pages back but who knows if I remembered too after I saw the question. No need to rent a room, breakfast area is huge and nice. Pool closes at 6pm but there are lighting and tables available out there as well.

No linked ressie for the CIS as lots of folks were able to get the priceline rate of $49 I'm guessing. I missed it but am happy to pay the rate as it was a very nice place to stay last time.

You all shoud be fine, we will be in hopefully by 10pm, See you all there!
