My Mom followed guidelines like that but does anyone really do this anymore? Certainly even if they do these rules are null and void on a cruise! :thumbsup2:banana:

Sounds good to me!!! I'm not usually paranoid, or fashionable, :lmao:, but with winter sooo recent my white sandals are looking really summery...but you're right, it's a cruise and summery is also good on a cruise!!

thanks,
bev

I thought at first you were going to say that your white sandals would blend in with your white legs from the recent winter. :scared1: Sorry! :sad2:

Brack, get back to work!
Someone asked about how the time change happens. On the last EBTA, I believe that we changed each night on the sea days. It was tough.
Brack if you are reading this, get back to work.
Cheers, Jennifer

Brack I'm at work too :surfweb: This is only the second time I've been able to read the posts though as it's EOM so we're busy around here. I'll take busy though because it makes the day go by faster.

1 week and 15 minutes from now I'll be leaving work and officially be on vacation :cool1::cheer2:

:scared1: I have just been told the auditor will be here while I am on vacation which means that everything needs to be in order when I leave!!:scared1: One more thing to add to my ever growing list of things to do. Can I cry now???:headache:

I'm wondering, as I begin to think about packing & face the inevitable nightmare of not being able to pack all my SHOES :scared1: ...

Since there are no hosiery/nylons police, and there are no makeup police.....

what about white, open toed sandals or espadrilles...BEFORE MEMORIAL DAY??

On the west coast we don't follow many color guidelines, since spring hits earlier, and well, just because.... :hippie: but how is everyone handling white shoes (I guess I mean just the ladies, and not in the gym or on the jogging trail ;))???

bev

I say - if the shoe fits, bring it.

Kristi

Will some of you that will be hitting the gym encourage me to go once in a while? I can only do weight machines and the bikes - no treadmills for me (doctor's orders - seriously).

Thanks

Kristi

Just found out that we are losing our "dead weight" at work. The "weight" is being transferred to another library. Of course this happens THE DAY WE SAIL!!!!

We are already down one person. With me on vacation, we will be down 3 people. Manager and assistant manager have already told me to "let it go" and not worry about it. How are 3 people going to cover 66 hours a week and get one day off (other than Sunday)? :scared1: Our branch has four 12 hours days and two 9 hour days.

The "dead weight" needs to go, but not until I get back. Oh well, a few drinks of the day will help me forget about work. :wizard:

Kristi

I really need to finish work, but I wanted to thank Dee for all her work on the miniNav. I'll have to print mine when I get home!

Hi,

WE are all packed and ready to go to bed...
Tomorrow at 5am the alarm clock will get us in the mood (maybe it takes me until 7am to wake up...)

I don't know if we have internet the upcoming week so we will see you all in a week....

Yes, well, that too...! :rotfl:

Ouch. That's not good. Here's some pixie dust... :tinker: (you) <---

Congratulations! I think you are the first to be packed, and first to leave home. (We leave on Saturday.)

Happy travels. See you onboard.

My husband will be right there with you. So you will be in good company.

Will you all be at WDW on Sunday? :goodvibes We're going after church to the Magic Kingdom for a few hours just to say that we have been on an Easter (another "bucket list" item) :thumbsup2

I finally started packing!!! YAY! Probably got about 1/3 of the kids and my stuff in, and trudged up to the attic and finally found some missing stuff of my oldest DD so that's in the wash.

We're still getting ground water into our basement, so I had to stay home again today to babysit the manual sump pump. At least it gave me a chance to do some cruise stuff as well as to clean up the main living spaces (which were strewn with the contents of the family room). My head feels so much clearer. My prayer right now is that the water stops by Sunday, which is when the water clean up people are due to arrive to dry us out.

One week from right now, DMIL's flight will be landing in Boston (she's flying up from home so we can all be on the same flights to and from the cruise). I can't wait!

Our suit cases are filing up fast! I am actually getting nervous that we won't be able to fit everything on our list. I am considering leaving my crochet project behind to save room. :scared1:

Like most everyone else I think you should suit yourself! There is something about being in the tropics (even for so short a time) that makes me throw all color-caution to the wind!

Erin -- I am so sorry you are having continued flooding issues. Wishing you luck and a dry basement!
